Centred around a large, glittering heated swimming pool, the development known as Los Claveles is situated in the popular resort of Los Cristianos, and is ideally suited to couples and families alike. The pool is overlooked by the poolside bar and restaurant, where snacks, meals and drinks can be enjoyed on the terrace. On site is a supermarket for daily essentials and also a reception for any assistance required. The centre of Los Cristianos is a few minutes walk. The area has grown from a fishing village into a charming town which is mainly pedestrians and has a variety of bars, cafes and restaurants as well as gift and souvenir shops. Los Cristianos has a wide sandy beach safe and enjoyable for the children. The harbour is also a place from which to take boat excursions, fishing trips or hire watersports equipment. Also nearby is Golf at Playa de Las Americas. Los Claveles is situated at the top of a steep hill and is not suitable for those with walking difficulties.

The nearby town of Los Cristianos offers a wide range of shops, cafes, bars & restaurants to suit all tastes and price ranges. The town has two beaches, the natural harbour beach or the larger manmade Las Vistas - both are suitable for children. Los Cristianos is a good base to visit the nearby waterpark, eagle park and soon to be opened Siam Park. Taxi's and local buses are found in abundance and are a quick and cheap way to get around if you dont want to hire a car. The nearby upmarket shopping plazas Safari Center and Del Duque offer the opportunity to window shop or spend some serious money. Many designer names to be found. Within walking distance of the golf course Golf Las Americas and a short taxi ride to Golf Los Palos (9 hole) and the luxury Golf Costa Adeje
