Golf courses: Tenerife has a number of excellent golf courses. The following are within 20 minutes drive. Amarilla golf is a championship 18 hole course two minutes drive away.Our villa is adjacent to the 6th fairway. Five minutes drive away is the superb Golf del Sur golf complex.It has 27 holes;the north and south nines are a championship course which has hosted many men's and womens' PGA events. Golf las americas is an 18 hole course 20 minutes drive away.The course is well presented although a little more more expensive than the others. Adeje is the farthest away at 25 minutes drive.It is a newer course,having 27 holes and is highly rated with wonderful views. There is a new golf course at Tecina on La Gomera,it is built on the side of a hill with fabulous views of the sea from every hole. Olsen Ferries offer a good deal from Los Christianos to include crossing, hotel for one night and two days golf.
Golf: The property is situated on the 6th fairway of Amarilla golf course. This course has been recently had a huge amount of work on it and is very much improved. The previously black sand bunkers now have white sand and the fairways are in excellent condition. Still quite a challangeing course Golf del Sur is the neighbouring course with 3 nines and some stunning views, about 5-10 minutes drive away, we think that these two are the best courses There are three more courses on the West coast within 20 minutes drive and two on the North coast about an hour away The newest and most exclusive and manicured course is Abama which is linked to a newly open luxurious hotel but so far green fee players are accepted but very expensive
