This beautiful detached fully refurbished villa has been recently furnished to a high standard throughout. The equipment includes washing machine, oven/hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, iron with board. The comfortable lounge/diner has 2x3 seater sofas and a beautiful dining table and chairs that seats 6. This room also has a TV with BBC1/BBC2/ITV/Chan4/Chan5 and a movie channel and a DVD player. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and large fitted wardrobes. The private heated (October to May) pool is surrounded by a large terrace with 6 sunbeds and large aluminium garden table and chairs for 6. There are splendid sea views from the terrace, with sunset over the island of Gomera. The owners live within 2 minutes should any problems arise. Although there are a few steps at the entrance the villa and terrace are on one level. This villa is in a quiet location and is regarded as one of the best in the area, therefore an early booking is recommended. There is a safe in the main bedroom

Sueño Azul is a quiet residential area of the southern resort of Callao Salvaje. Statistically Callao Salvaje has more hours of sunlight per day than any other other areas in Tenerife. Villa 250 is a 2/3 minute walk to the main area of hotels, bars, banks, restaurants, pharmacy, doctors, supermarkets etc. The resort is just a 10 minute drive from the busy Las Americas and Los Cristianos. Callao Salvaje has a variety of bars catering to all tastes with plenty of entertainment, and is also well known for some very good restaurants. There are a handful of local hotels nearby. Taxis and local buses are easily available for those wishing to venture out. The beach itself is half sand half pebble with a jetty that is ideal for fishing, snorkeling etc. There are several supermarkets and many local shops and banks. Adeje and Abama golf course complexes are only a ten minute drive away. There are tennis courts nearby. Ideal for families.

Swimming pool: The brand new heated pool has been constructed to the highest level by a local established company. Its main features are the Roman styled steps that lead into the pool. The shallow end is approx 1 metre deep and the deep end is 1.4 metres deep. It has been fully tiled to a high standard. The pool also boasts underwater lighting that compliments the exterior lighting of the property. The pool lighting and filtration system all works on a timer therefore there is no maintenance required. The owner does all the update and cleaning of the pool. If you intend to use a pool whilst on holiday in Tenerife we strongly recommend that you choose a villa with a heated pool. Although the all year climate in Tenerife is probably one of the best in the world, from November to March a heated pool is a necessity as the cooler evenings mean that the temperature of the pool drops. A pool cover ensures that the pool stays warm enough overnight for a morning dip.

Location: Within ten minutes drive there are many fabulous sandy beaches and luxurious shopping centres including Las Americas Plaza and Bahia del Duque. Don't forget the tenpin bowling alley and Aquapark as well!! For the active holiday makers there are quad biking, hang gliding etc. The exciting Siam Park is now open every day. Of course Loro Park is only an hour away.

excellent villa, very clean with all mod cons, Mike picked us up at the airport on route to the villa he took us to village and pointed out bars and cafe's.
Pool heating was on and swimming was a pleasure.
I would recommend this villa to everyone who is looking for a quiet holiday, local bus and taxis are just a short walk away, We recommend Wimpen Bar for good food, english owned, very friendly.

Quiet with splendid views of the Atlantic

The villa is set at the top of a small development of similar sized villas, and was well furnished and comfortable. We only used the master bedroom as there was just the 2 of us. The bedroom and the lounge had double glazed sliding patio doors which looked out on to the verandah and had a splendid view of the Atlantic and La Gomera.
The pool was warm and well maintained and there weree 6 good quality sunloungers for our use.
The sea was a 5 minute walk away past a parade of shops, 2 ATM's several small supermarkets and a mixture of restaurants cafes and Bars, catering from pizzas to reasonable quality moderately priced meals. When we were there it was very quiet and the bars were almost empty.
Our impression was that many of the villas were owned or occupied by fellow Brits although we met several Danish and French people in the local restaurants.
We hired a car and most days went out and explored the West of the island. The journey from the airport to the villa was straightforward and we found travelling around the island was relatively easy although we did come across some very steep hills on our way to El Teide.
We would recommend the walk Barranco del Infierno which starts from the top of Adeje. Only 200 people are allowed to go per day and you have to book the day before. The walk takes about 90 mins each way and they recommend walking shoes or trainers. It's not far from the villa and there is a large, and much cheaper supermarket as you enter Adeje.
The weather during our stay was fine and sunny and we would recommend the property.

Just come back from our second trip to this villa. Twelve months later and the villa is still spotlessly clean and well maintained.
I always recommend that friends looking for holidays check this out first.

Villa in Callao Salvaje

We have just spent two weeks at this villa and had a wonderful time. The accomodation is spacious, Spotlessly clean and comfortable. The owner provided everything we would need during our stay. The pool was perfect, especially for children as it has a baby gate to close it off. The temperature of the pool was perfect as it had a pool cover to stop it getting too cold. The pool area had plenty of sunbeds and a parasol and had a lovely view of the sea and La Gomera in the distance. The villa is also quite private and not directly overlooked.

The villa is well located in a peaceful area away from any noise, but is close enough to walk to the restaurants. The resort is small but has some excellent restaurants such as La Fonda and Sorpresa Sorpresa and other facilities you would need such as supermarket and cash machine. There isn't a proper beach at Callao Salvaje but ten minutes in the car takes you to Las Americas or Los Christianos.

The owner, Mike was extremely helpful and visited us when we arrived to show us around. He checked on the villa and pool during our stay provided clean linen and gave us his numbers if we had a problem.

Whilst there we visited Loro Parque, which was excellent but a little expensive. We also took the cable car up to the top of Teide, which is impressive but again a bit pricey. We went to Jungle Park but were not that impressed and the children were a little bored, and again it was expensive. Los Gigantes is worth a visit as it is quite stunning and the beach is quieter than Las Americas.

All in all a lovely holiday and would book this again if visiting Tenerife.

With respect to the price of attractions, although they are not cheap they are excellent quality. Loro Park has five different shows during the day and it is well worth spending the whole day there. The new waterpark in the South of the island(Siam Park) opens on 15th September 2008 and boasts the longest water chute ride in Europe.

Costs can be reduced by planning ahead and taking food and drink with you (as with most attractions these items are not cheap). I can also supply discounted admission tickets to most island attractions via my car hire company.
