Restaurants:
Within a few minutes walk is a wonderful restaurant run by a friendly German couple who also speak Spanish and English. They offer a variety of cuisines, German cooking as well as traditional canarian dishes.
In the village itself (about 4 minutes walk) is the local bar with plenty of authentic local atmosphere where you can sample typical canarian dishes including fresh fish and a drink or two. The setting is superb and you will literally be sitting right on the beach where you can watch the fishermen bringing in their catch and be close enough to toss a pebble in the sea!!
There is also another friendly cafe bar for a lesser snack or ice cream overlooking the village games court.
Shops:
Since the village is a quiet area, which is why you chose it, the shopping facilities are limited. In the village itself there are two very small shops offering only basics (bread, milk, drinks etc) which are only open for a few hours in the afternoons.
However, in Gran Tarajal, the next village along, you can find all the supermarkets and shops for anything you might need.
