Corralejo holiday apartment: Corralejo

We had en excellent week there white our two grown up sons. The primarily purpose was Kitesurfing and Sun a week in October.

The service from the owner on email was excellent. Even that we had to make a few changes due to flight schedules.
We were well taken care of when we arrived to the well cleaned and maintained apartment whitch was fulfilling the descriptions.
The pool and jaccuzzi was well cleaned and nice.
Good parking facilities.

The accommodation is at a nice quiet area very close to all facilities, we preferred to walk the distance when we was at the town center and main street. We could sit outside and enjoy a quiet evening while the young ones where partying downtown just 15 mins away.

The local shopping center, El Campanario, has a good Surf and Kite shop side by side to the surf bar where the food is good.
Lunch; try one of the restaurants at Cotillo, and sit in the sun with a marvelous view to the Ocean and the wonderful beach.
Seafood at the waterfront in the harbor was good. Can´t remember the name, We choose one of the restaurants where nearly all the tables where taken, as this must be a recommadation :-)

Several Kiteshops in the town. We recommend, besides the local one, Krunk at C./Isaac Peral 44, downtown.

For swimming there was a good beach for swim and snorting just 7 mins walk away.

Sightseeing is worth trying at the shore along the north coast to Cotillo (good places for snorting and fishing) and the vulcanos just 30 mins away south west by car.

We did a lot of Kitesurfing and had a lot of sunny days. The primary spots were Sunny beach, 5 minutes by car, and the spectacular beach at Cotillo on the west coast, 20-30 mins by car.
Kitesurfing in Sotavento in the south was one hour by car, but we found the local northern Kite spots as the best.

In general: You have a calm relaxing accomadation as a base, and all the fun stuff are within walking distance to you.

We would recommend this location for vacation. We would try this place again just the two of us. Besides are both our sons ready for another trip, as long as the old ones are paying. It is a cheap and relaxing way to get the young ones with you.
