Lovely, fully furnished apartment, with outside terrace overlooking the pool and with sea & mountain views. Shared pool has a poolside bar adjacent and a tennis court on site. 1 double & 1 twin bedroom, sleeps 4-6 people (sofa bed in lounge). Travel cot, high chair and buggy in apartment. 5 main British TV channels plus DVD, video and Hi-Fi. Fully fitted kitchen with large fridge freezer, washing machine, cooker, microwave, in fact a 'home from home' with everything you will need, even an iron and board plus a hairdryer. Also has own parking space. 10 minutes from the airport and 5 minute walk from town centre, beach, loads of restaurants and bars, 5 mins from major 18 hole golf course, and 5 minutes from local hypermarket and shopping centre. 15 minutes from the capital and ferry terminal to Lanzerote. 40 minutes (regular buses) from Water park. Airport pick-up can be arranged, plus additional apartments if required.

Notes: Golfers with family will find it convenient staying in Caleta, where the rest of the family can walk to the beach whilst the golfer walksor takes a taxi to the course. Fuerteventura Golf Club is the first golf club on the island and is an 18 hole, par 71 course extending 6124 metres, with a mild descent from the Clubhouse Hotel towards the sea. The ground surrounding holes 17 and 18 is the steepest. The course excels for its simplicity and beauty, its main difficulties are generally associated with the breeze and its many lakes, connected by small brooks and channels, which can sometimes come into the game. The course was designed by the prestigious architect Juan Catarimeau, who realised at once the importance of the effect of the wind and landscaped it with this factor in mind. In April 2004 the course hosted the Spanish Canaries Open, a full European PGA tour event which was very well received in the golfing world.

Winter Getaway

My husband and I together with our 9 month old daughter returned from our lovely holiday today. We booked this holiday at the last minute and it was wonderful to find such a homely, clean and comfortable apartment. The resort itself is great and was ideal for us as a family, just busy enough.
We made good use of the buggy that comes with the apartment with lovely walks along the costal paths stopping for refreshments along the way of course. Unfortunatley we were unable to use the pool (slightly too cold) but it still looked very inviting.
We look forward to returning again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment to family or friends.
Owner's Response: It's great when we get a response like this, we love Fuerteventura and Caleta and hope that everyone who goes enjoys it as much as we do.

We do try and make our apartment a home from home and welcome comments to help us improve anything.

Sorry the pool is a bit cold in winter, we always go to the beach in the winter months because we find the sea is always warmer than the pool! The pool is best enjoyed from the terrace of the apartment, with a glass of wine in hand in winter.........

If anyone is wanting to arrange a family holiday and needs more than one apartment please contact us because we know other owners on the complex and can arrange for your friends to be nearby if required.

All you could ask for in a holiday

I and my 2 children stayed for the first week of the summer holidays. We thought the apartment was fantastic, and it is clear to see that it is very well cared for and maintained. It was well equipt and like home from home. There is even a guide to read, prepared by the owners of the apartment, which not only outlines helpful hints & tips about the apartment and the surrounding area, but also suggested good days out and places to eat.

The apartment is light & airey and just a short distance from the pool. Which was great as I could sunbath around the pool whilst my teenage children chilled out watching one of the 5 UK TV stations on the TV.

The pool is lovely and clean (we saw the maintenance man cleaning it every morning). The staff in the pool bar were very friendly and helpful giving tips as to where to go to eat, best places to shop etc. Also they do the best cooked breakfast and so cheap.

And Jeff & Ann the resident taxi driver/maintenance man/cleaner were a joy. Really friendly and helpful and again nothing was too much trouble for them. They live on site and are there at your beck & call.

If you dont hire a car, the bus stop is at the end of the road, so there is no excuse for not seeing the Island. However the resort its self is great with nice beaches with loads of really nice restaurants. We would recommend the Tapas restaurant and the cake shop, both of which can be seen from the kitchen window.

We definately would recommend this to anyone and will definately be going back.

Fantastic Break

What a thoroughly enjoyable break in the sunshine myself and a friend had last year. Arrived to a lovely welcome from Jeff and all the gang at the pool bar. The apartment was lovely, bright, clean, homely and well equiped with everything you would need for a self catering holiday. It made the break in the sunshine all the more enjoyable and i would recommend a visit for anyone wanting a stress free, sunshine break. I will definately be going back.
