The beautiful apartment is located on the lovely island of Fuerteventura on the 5 star Golf Resort which hosted the 2004 Spanish Open. The island of Fuerteventura is the second largest in the Canaries. Despite its size it still remains sparsely populated, and has not undergone mass tourism development. The 265 km of coastline offers beautiful fine sandy beaches that transform Fuerteventura into a paradise Island. There is a wide range of leisure and cultural activities on the islands and many protected natural landscapes that can be visited. The Golf Resort is located is in the middle of the East coast, close to Costa Caleta. This central location offers the ideal base for exploring the Island. Costa Caleta is built around a horseshoe shaped bay, and the golden sandy beach is ideal for family holidays. Caleta de Fuste is rich in character, and offers a wide variety of entertainment, and fun areas for small children.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. Rates quoted are for 1 to 4 persons sharing. A supplement of £40 pounds per extra person is charged in low season, £50 pounds in Mid Season, and £60 pounds per extra person in High Season. Xmas and New Year is charged at a flat rate of £500 pounds. Children under 2 years - Free. A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to confirm the booking. The balance is required 6 weeks prior to departure. A damages deposit of £150 pounds or 200 Euros in cash is required on arrival, and will be returned after inspection on departure.
    After we receive an enquiry we shall hold your booking provisionally for 1 week. Please contact us for availability and we will be happy to accommodate your needs. We are flexible with the changeover. We endeavour to allow guests to arrive/depart to suit their flight times; however, if this is not possible we adhere to 4 pm arrival 10am departure.
  • Atlantico Shopping Centre At the entrance to the golf course resort {2 min. walk from the apartment} you will find the new Atlantico Shopping Centre, which offers a variety of restaurants, bars, cafes, a large supermarket, a cinema, a bowling alley, and charming up market shops. You will also find a large 'Spar' supermarket which will cater for all your food requirements. There are restaurants and bars overlooking the promenade and sea, with a pizza restaurant and a burger bar for snacks. There is a small games/entertainment area for the children and a ¾ length bowling alley (with a bar) for the whole family. There is also a multiplex cinema which shows films both in English and Spanish. There are 2 Internet terminals in the entertainment area for your convenience.
  • Costa Caleta Costa Caleta is built around a horseshoe shaped bay, and the golden sandy beach is ideal for family holidays. Costa Caleta is rich in character, and offers a wide variety of entertainment, and fun areas for small children. On Saturday mornings there is an African Market offering a wide variety of souvenirs which are rich in African culture. There are a wide variety of excursions available at Costa Caleta, including trips to the endless beaches in the South, the sand dunes in the North, La Lajita Zoo and Botanical Garden, camel rides, water park, catamaran and boat fishing trips, to mention but a few.

Travel: Travel Fuerteventura Airport is approximately 8 km away. A free shuttle bus service is available daily between the golf club, the commercial centre and Costa Caleta. This runs every half hour up to 10pm. The taxi service on the island is efficient and very reasonably priced. You can arrange a taxi from the Airport to the golf resort, for 15 Euro {approximately}. As a result car hire is not strictly necessary. However we would recommend hiring a car for part, if not all of your stay.

Golf: Golf Information Home to the Spanish Open in April 2004, a great many complimentary remarks were made about the course and the playing conditions that it has to offer. The course is a par 71 extending 6078 metres, with a mild descent from the Clubhouse Hotel towards the sea. The course is basically flat with the exception of the 17th and 18th holes. The 17th a par 5 gently climbs to a well-protected green and the 18th, a par 4, is a downhill dogleg that returns to the clubhouse. The dominating breeze comes from the north, and when it blows strongly, it converts the course into a real challenge for a player's skill. The course excels for its simplicity and beauty. On the course you will find three large lakes with a stream that meanders between them, with water fountains, several bridges, palm trees, and footpaths, making this a picturesque and relaxing course to play on. The 365 day a year course is comfortable to play, even in the middle of the day due to the constant cooling breeze.

Hello,
On arrival to our apartment we where met by the Management couple who were very helpfull and extremely nice the apartment itself was spotless and spacious and very well located. Across the road we found supermarkets /shops bars/ restuarants/ shopping mall /bowling alley / cinema. If you fancy something extra special I would recommend the restuarants in the 4 and 5 star hotels across from the apartment. The beach was lovely and clean with a good selection of water sports.
will be going back.

Hi,
We arrived in our accomadation on a Thursday, and where pleasantly supprised at the location of our apartment, we where right beside the golf course and with views onto the greens and views of the Sea on the the other side together with shops/supermarket also beside us was a big plus. We found are apartment to be very modern and by far one of best we have stayed in, the only downfall was that we didn't book two weeks...!!!, There was plenty of bars restuarants and watersports which we found to be exellent value for money. We will definitely be back

lovely peaceful quiet apartment

my husband and I had a weeks holiday in this apartment,it was clean, fresh,and had everything you would need for your break.we were greated on arrival by the very friendly caretaker who explained everthing. easy access to shops and beach, some traffic noice and aeroplane noise but not disturbing, hired a car for exploring the island,weather was good in Feb. Pool very cold, but the terrace and balcony very private and ideal for sunbathing and relaxing.A lovely location for an early break from Englands winter.

Holidays with traffic noise and cockroaches

I stayed in the apartment with my family for three weeks in July/August 2008.
We have some notices we have to share with other potential guests.
Pros:
The apartment is located close to the shopping centre, beach, Caleta de Fueste town and golf pool. And only 10 km from the airport.
Cons:
1 - the burdensome and permanent noise (since a. 7 am to 10 pm) every-day from the traffic and airplanes approaching to landing. The apartment is located nearby (a. 40 m) main road, and right on the airplane approaching route). [for details see maps and films from landing e.g. in YouTube]. Photo “the Front of The Penthouse Apartment with Balcony” showed on the website is made from sidewalk.
2 - during few first days we killed several cockroaches inside the apartment. We found out that cockroaches also going out from the beds. We was terrified when we looked inside. Inside the beds we found (probably collected for a long time!!!): e.g., old groceries (like oil, water bottles, alcohols, spices, jam, etc.), many old dirty clothes (a.o. bath dresses), a lot of used, old shoes, stack of different cosmetics, women sanitary towels, and a lot of different rags. This heap of rubbish looked like deposited by a long time by the “cleaning” crew??
3 - swimming pool is located just by the door but unfortunately it was closed for a half of time due to the disinfection.
I can send photo documentation of rubbish in apartment upon request.
Maybe it was an “isolated incident” (as staff said), but, summarizing, due to the permanent traffic noise, doubtful sanitary state and bug-attractions we dissuade staying in this apartment.

Great Holidays

I stayed in this apartment 3 times during the year, the first time was with my husband at the beginning of the year, we enjoyed how central it was 10 minutes from the airport, beach, restaurants/bars, shopping centre were all within walking distance. We decided to bring our children back in August, they enjoyed the Water park and Zoo which are only a bus journey away. We had the pool at our doorstep, all mod cons in the apartment T.V. etc for children in the evening. In October I returned for a girls holiday, we took advantage of the huge terrace roof for the whole week. I would recommend this apartment for any type of holiday, we all thoroughly enjoyed it and hope to return early next year.
