Situated 10 minutes from the airport; private complex with reception and poolside cafe/bar. Private sunning balcony from bedroom, 5 minutes from sandy beaches where windsurfing, pedals, canoes, scuba diving and snorkelling equipment, and jet-skis can be hired. Close to golf course. Equipped with Satellite television, DVD player, toaster, microwave, no pets allowed. Front and rear patios with table and chairs. Fitted upstairs wardrobes, safe, with 2 single beds. Upstairs there is a bathroom with shower and toilet, Downstairs there is a cloakroom, double sofa bed, wheelchair access and very child friendly environment. Nice compact apartment. Nice friendly complex for all the family. We have 2 apartments on the same complex, so could take up to 8 people if both apartments booked. All Year Availability!

  • Rental Prices are £130 for 2 people, the reason for this price is that the pool is under repair, Hotels adjacent have pool facilities that can be used and also the beach is 5 mins away.
    A breakage deposit of 50 pounds is required. This is to be paid on booking and will be returned when you return from Fuerteventura, providing there are no damages.

Notes: Although there is no maid service there is a laundry change for stays of 10/11 nights and a mid holiday clean and laundry change for 2 weeks stays. There is a clothes airier upstairs. Cot, high chair and other baby items are available for hire at a small extra charge which is paid locally. our 2 weeks in august 2009 were absolutely great. the isalnd is amazing and there are a lot of beautiful beaches. we recomend a car to travel around all the island. the house is quite good. it's a real pity that the swimmng pool isn't working and that all the old structures (pool bar ecc...) are down. but after all it was good.

Caleta Mar Apartments

We arrived using the taxi service offered, which was waiting for us on arrival. This was an easy way to get to the apartments and cost effective.
The apartment was suitable for 2 adults but would have been cramped for 4. The facilities offered were good, with 2 bathrooms and a washing machine. The apartment lacked some basic kitchen equipment for cooking.
The pool was still out of action, but the Hotel opposite offered a suitable alternative and would have been a better choice with the nice views of the sea.
The other residents at the complex were often noisy at night and woke us up at times.
The local area was very English orientated with no real Spanish influence, which we missed at times.
We went on a whale watching and fishing experience, which were good, but you obviously cannot book the weather and so we had rough seas and did not see any whales.
We enjoyed our holiday and would recommend the venue for couples who are looking for a cheap base to explore the island.
Owner's Response: The taxi service is a service we feel starts our customers holiday and takes away the hinderance of finding the accomodation. The pool is still out of action (planned to be repaired in the near future), hence the price, as stated the complex adjacent has excellent facilities that can be used during your stay. We feel that it is value for money and a good apartment as a base camp.
