The apartment is situated on an elevated position and therefore lends itself to excellent views over Puerto Rico Beach and Harbour from the balcony, front bedroom and pool. A Huge selection of bars and restaurants are a few minutes walk away. A very good restaurant is situated just across the road, but you do sometimes need to book as it is a popular venue. The whole apartment is well looked after and is in excellent condition.

Notes to the rental rates

• Price based on 4 sharing - Example - £300 per week, (£300 is the rental for the week for the apartment, not for each person) If a second week is booked , this week will be at the discounted rate of £275 (except for Christmas and New Year which will be £450 per week from 23rd December to 7th January). For 2 people the rate is £250 per week. For 3 people the rate is £275 per week. Therefore, if 2 weeks are booked, we will discount £25 for the second week.

Puerto Rico - Town

Puerto Rico is the hottest resort on Gran Canaria's south coast. It is a lively resort with lots to do for all age groups. It offers a busy marina, two sandy beaches (one with watersports). It has an excellent public bus service leaving from the small bus station by the side of the main park with their service number and destination clearly marked. It has 3 shopping centres, Agua La Perra, Europa and Centro Civico Commercials. There are a good selection of restaurants, which are very good value for money and also bars and clubs, at least one supermarket, electrical goods, newspapers and beach items . Also car hire agencies and duty free. Hairdressers, florist, fishmongers, stationers, travel agency, clothing, shoe shops and a Launderette. The town pool has a special offer. Breakfast of 9.80 euros per adult and 5.80 per child includes admission to the 3 pools all day. (one pool is heated from September through till April).

Puerto Rico - Beach

This is the local beach and is man made with Saharan sand and well sheltered. The beach is gently shelving with a boom to separate swimmers from the sailing. Very safe for swimming. and the temperature is good. Playa de Amadores is the next beach along and is a 20 minutes walk away along the coastal path. This beach is man made with coral sand and is less busy and much larger.
