The Portonovo Apartments enjoy a prime seafront location overlooking the harbour, beach & ocean. In the complex there is a large heated swimming pool, complemented by the poolside bar serving meals & drinks throughout the day. The apartment No 440 is a 2 bed penthouse on the top floor- 4th floor. There are 2 lifts to the 4th floor & a further 2 lifts situated by reception. The apartment is south facing, overlooking the harbour and ferry terminal with fantastic views over the bay & ocean. Accommodation includes 2 twin bedded bedrooms, a new modern kitchen, including oven, 4 ring ceramic hob, microwave, toaster, electric kettle & fridge freezer. There is also an iron, ironing board and hair dryer. A large living room & dining area includes satellite TV, DVD player & CD radio. The south facing balcony enjoys great views & sunshine much of the day. There is a modern bathroom with de- luxe shower. All rooms are furnished to a high standard. The apartment is cleaned & & linen changed weekly.

Visitors return year after year to this attractive intimate development on the southern edge of Puerto Rico in the south of Gran Canary. All the amenities for a fabulous holiday are right on your doorstep. The beach with a great range of activities and facilities is nearby. A large park with crazy golf, tennis and children’s play area are located near the bus station. Waterpark is located near the large shopping centre. Located near the Seafront is a Lido Complex comprising a network of swimming pools. The Southern Resorts of Playa Del Ingles Maspalomas, Anfi and Puerto Mogan are served by regular bus services. An hourly express bus service operates between Puero Rico and the capital Las Palmas. Also Ferry Services operate from Puerto Rico to other Coastal Resorts. There are numerous golf courses in the South of Gran Canary. A new walkway experience along the Cliff Edge has been built between Puerto Rico and the next Resort of Amadores. Also visit the New Europe Shopping Centre.

There is also a great selection of bars, shops and restaurants along the seafront. The apartments are a 35 min taxi drive to Las Palmas Airport. The Management Company provide a Taxi Service to and from the Airport if required.

We've stayed in this resort twice before and this was by far the best accomodation. It's in the perfect location, with beach, marina and supermarket immediately accessible. There's plenty do do all within a short distance. The pool area is lovely, never any difficulty getting loungers or shade, and there's a lovely pool bar, snack bar and restaurant within the pool area. The apartment itself was excellent - spacious, clean and very well equipped. The balcony overlooked the marina. Communication with the owner was clear and efficient, as were the transfer arrangements and access to apartment on arrival.
We had 2 teenage sons and their Grandma as well as ourselves in the apartment - there was plenty of space, and the resort offers more than enough to keep everyone happy. There are numerous watersports available on the beach, and it's well worth taking a 5 Euro boat ride to the resort of Anfi for the day.
We will most definitely book this apartment again, it was perfect.

beautiful views, very well keeped and very clean.
everything on your door step no up hill climb.the best holiday that we had in years we will be going back next year if all goes well with the family as there is everything for all ages on your door step..
