Lovely, fully furnished bungalow with patio area & furniture . Shared pool with bar and tennis court . Set on residential complex (Portuguese & Spanish neighbours). Very quiet and peaceful. 1 double & 1 twin b/room, sleeps 4/5 (put up bed in lounge). Ceiling fan in bedrooms & free standing fan in lounge. F/fitted kitchen with large fridge freezer, 4 ring hob, oven, microwave, a 'home from home' with all you will need, incl. iron & ironing board, hairdryer & straighteners, books & games. Cot & high chair available on request. Lounge has TV with 5 main UK Channels, + DVD, and Hi-Fi. Bathroom has a full size bath, shower & washing machine. The bungalow is 10 mins from the airport, 15 mins from Puerto Del Rosario and ferry terminal to Lanzarote & 40mins from Waterpark.. A 5-10 minute walk to the town centre, beach , 18 hole golf course and local Netto supermarket. Town centre has a variety of excellent restaurants, bars and cafes. Golf: Golfers with family will find it convenient staying in Costa Caleta, where the rest of the family can walk to the beach whilst the golfer walks or takes a taxi to the course. Fuertventura Golf Club is the first golf club on the island and is an 18 hole, par 71 course extending 6124 metres, with a mild decent from the Clubhouse Hotel towards the sea. The ground surrounding holes 17 and 18 is the steepest. The course excels for its simplicity and beauty, its main difficulties are generally associated with the breeze and its many lakes, connected by small brooks and channels, which can sometimes come into the game. The course was designed by the prestigious architect Juan Catarimeau, who realised at once the importance of the effect of the wind and landscaped it with this factor in mind. In April 2004 the course hosted the Spanish Canaries Open, a full European PGA tour event which was very well received in the golfing world.
