Set over two levels our bungalow/villa offers spacious, private accommodation for eight people. There is a pool and large private sun bathing areas. The bungalow has a shaded outdoor dining and entertaining area plus extensive indoor facilities including satellite TV and DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped and you can dine and relax indoors in the main living/dining/kitchen area. There are four bedrooms (3 doubles and one with bunk beds) plus a sofa bed. The master bedroom has a luxury en suite bathroom with separate shower. Additionally there is a separate toilet for the use of the other bedrooms plus a family bathroom on the ground floor. The bungalow is brilliantly located for both daytime and night time holiday activities.

The bungalow is situated in Campo Internacional which is between the beach (at the lighthouse) and the town of Playa del Ingles. It is two minutes walk from the golf course at Mapalomas and five minutes walk to the shopping centre Faro II. At Faro II there are two supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants. It is easy to get taxis from the road outside the golf club. Maspalomas has a stunning beach (and the world famous sand dunes) - you can walk there in about 20 minutes or hop in a taxi. Nearby is the area of Meloneras which has many classy bars, restaurants and shops. Go the other way and you can enjoy the night life of Playa del Ingles. If you have a hire car then you can reach the GC-1 motorway in about four minutes making it easy to get to the city of Las Palmas, shopping in Vecindario or days out in Puerto Rico or Mogan. Gran Canaria has stunning mountain scenery and a drive up into the centre of the island to see the fantastic views is recommended.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Prices assume occupancy of 1 to 4 people. Prices for 5 to 8 people are slightly higher but work out less per person i.e. £850/£900 for regular weeks. Note: Christmas and New Year may only be booked as a complete fortnight and costs £1,200 per week regardless of occupancy.
    Once you have contacted us to confirm that the period you require is available a deposit of half the total cost secures that period.

    Should you decide to cancel, the deposit is refundable only if we are subsequently able to rent the period you have reserved.

    The balance is payable in Euro cash on arrival.

    A £200/Euros cash security deposit will be required on arrival. This will be refunded at the end of your stay in UK pounds or Euros as long as there are no major breakages.

Great family vacation

We had a splendid time at Ramon's villa. We were 4 adults and 2 children and the villa suited everyone's needs.

The house has it's own patio so the children can play outside without access to trafic and it is possible to lock the gate to the pool. The kitchen is large and well-equipped and the bathrooms are quite luxurious (for instance the biggest one has a big bathtub, shower, 2 sinks and toilet).

The villa was clean and spacious. The owner lives right next door and was very nice and helpful. Rod & Dale, who handled the booking, were very nice and helpful as well. For instance, they met us at a busstop to help us with the luggage and drive us the short way to the house and they'd just bought a baby cot for our youngest to sleep in.

The area is peaceful and quiet yet close to shopping, restaurants, Holiday World and the beach. We rented bikes nearby so we could get to the beach quickly. From the villa we explored some sights of the south of Gran Canaria - we went on foot or bike to beach, Faro 2, Holiday World, Playa del Ingles, Dunas de Maspalomas and Melonares and we went on bus to Puerto Rico and Puerto de Mogan (bus 32). Bus 66 takes you from the airport to the villa in approximately 35 minutes for less than 4 Euro pr person. The busstop is just 10 minutes walk from the villa.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

My family and myself thouroughly enjoyed our stay in this property and in the general area. It was without a doubt one of the best holidays we have had in a very long time. Would have no problem recommending this property to any holiday seekers.
