Fuerteventura Golf
Villa Gomera is situated on Fuerteventura Golf Club, an 18 hole championship golf course with lush wide fairways lined by swaying palm trees. The course, the first on the island of Fuerteventura, is a par 70 extending 6124 metres from the championship tees, with a mild descent from the Clubhouse down towards the ocean.
The course, which is superbly appointed and maintained, will present a challenge to the most serious golfer as well as an ideal place to improve your golf game if you are less experienced. There is a large practice area which includes a 50 bay driving range area and extensive practice putting / chipping facilities. Professional tuition is available in several languages
The Fuerteventura golf clubhouse includes large pro-shop, changing rooms with lockers, a club storage area and a choice of excellent bars and restaurants. There is also an outside terrace and garden area where you can enjoy your drink overlooking the 18th green with spectacular views

Big Game Fishing
If golf isn’t the game for you, what about a spot of big game fishing? Fuerteventura is widely reckoned to be one of the best areas in Europe for big game fishing, and there are plenty of organised trips led by experienced local skippers around the Fuerteventura coast.
Shopping
Or there is no shortage of other attractions on hand in the nearby town of Caleta de Fustes or the capital Puerto del Rosario, where there are a wide range of shops, restaurants, a marina and sea life centre. Across the road from the golf complex is a large commercial centre called the Atlantico with a large range of top quality shops, bars and restaurants set around beautifully landscaped gardens by the Ocean. A multiplex cinema is situated next door offering new releases in several languages.

Further a field with the perfect weather, the constant wind and great water conditions, the opportunities for watersports on the island of Fuerteventura are virtually unlimited.

Horse Riding
There are several riding-stables that cater for horseback trekking around the island.
Fuerteventura Beaches
The most popular Fuerteventura beaches are located at Corralejo, El Cotillo, Costa Calma, Cofte and Jandia. Fuerteventura’s beaches are also very popular with Europe’s Naturists. A new 3km stretch of man-made beach is situated across the road from the golf course complex (approx. 1-2 km away). There’s also an existing beach in Caleta de Fustes to the right of the port (approx 2km away). This is a beautiful horse shoe shaped sandy beach, very safe and perfect for the whole family to enjoy. You can also hire sunbeds and parasols for the day at a very reasonable cost.
Visit other Canary Islands
For those who wish to explore, the neighbouring island of Lanzarote can be reached by ferry from Corralejo in around 40 minutes. It is well worth the trip particularly the Montañas del Fuego (Fire Mountains), the heart of Lanzarote, like a moonscape (location for many films)
