We have just returned from 10 days at this property and had a fantastic time, this was our first independant holiday as previously always booked with a tour operator, doubt we would go the tour operator route again, as we have 3 children this worked out so much more cheaper for us. The complex was safe and the people very friendly, the pool was lovely with a depth of around 3ft 6ins in the shallow and the deeper end around 6ft this was cleaned every morning without fail, the house had lots of inflatable toys of which a few we used around the pool, the sunbeds stayed out by the pool and this is what we found so different - no 6am dash for a sunlounger!!!!!! having the little gate on the patio was a godsend too, our 3yr old likes to wander off and explore without us, well he did until we locked it lol. The house is beautifully furnished with everything you need and more, my partner and my daughter would wander indoors and watch DVDs when the heat got too much for them both. Half way through our stay the bed linen and towels were changed and a general sweep and mop of the floors, we didnt expect this so it was a bonus. The house is a 5 min walk from restaurants bars and supermarkets and beach, we had some lovely meals out but have found that with the euro currently very weak that we spent a lot of money eating out compare to other years. We hired a car and went to the water park in Correlejo and had a nice scenic tour of the island coming home through the mountains. The weather was just right for us and we noticed that the days were getting hotter the more into July as you would expect. Oh I must mention the memory foam mattress on the double bed - home from home so great to not have a bad back sleeping on a holiday chipboard bed! I would have liked air conditioning as it did get very hot, the ceiling fans were a godsend but for me I would have prefered air con. Finally I would like to say thankyou to Carol and Andy for letting us stay in their home, also an extra special thankyou to Carol whose communication throughout the booking procedure was fantastic, definately made me feel more at ease going the independantly travelling way. I doubt we will return to Fuerteventura as its now been my 2nd visit to the Island and I would like to try other places BUT I will definately be recommending this house to my family and friends. Also the slow boat chinese restaurant (the one upstairs) was fantastic, bogof on drinks, 10% off the meal, wonderful food.
