Photos and Description of this Caleta de Fuste (El Castillo) holiday house Situated on the SUNNY SIDE of a Prestigious complex approx 600 meters from Sea

Our criteria for a good holiday is good location and comfortable accommodation so this is what we offer. We are genuinely a few mins walk to the harbour, bars, restaurants and sandy beach. We are one of the lucky properties on this complex to benefits from full sun on the patio area throughout the afternoon until sunset (unlike others). There are beautiful tropical gardens and a heated swimming pool and we are lucky to have a direct unobstructed view over the gardens to the pool. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and adequate storage space. There is a separate spacious lounge with 2 comfortable sofas, large 28” TV, DVD player plus 100’s of DVD’s. The kitchen/dinning room has seating for 6, washing machine, large fridge freezer, built in microwave/grill, ceramic hob & full oven and is very well equipped with pans and knives, coffee machine, TEAPOT and even a cheese grater. For the young ones we provide a travel cot, highchair and pushchair FOC and buckets/spades & inflatables.

Our philosophy is quality comfortable accommodation. Having taken many self catering holidays ourselves we knew what little touches made a difference to us and so have endeavoured to incorporate all of these things into our own holiday home. There are extra blankets and pillows so guests can dress the beds to their own individual needs and there is also a digital safe. Two of the bedrooms have their own private balcony with the twin room overlooking the heated pool and gardens and all bedrooms have ceiling fans to ensure comfort. We have a large separate kitchen/ breakfast room that has seating for six and is very well equipped with a washing machine, built in microwave combination grill, ceramic hob and oven and a large upright fridge freezer and when we say large there is plenty of room in the fridge for cans of beer and bottles of water and fizzy drinks and even space for food.

Approximately 10 km from the Airport the town of Caleta de Fuste can be found in the middle of the east coast and is perfectly situated to explore the rest of the island. Caleta is an ideal spot for families with a shallow golden sandy beach, which is protected from the surf by the harbour wall. There is a marina offering numerous water sport facilities and boat trips all within easy walking distance of the house. The fishing and diving around Caleta is excellent. There is a hugh variety of restaurant and bars in the town with a wide range of international cuisine. Close by is two golf courses with driving range and clubs hire facility. From Caleta you are about 45 minutes drive from the islands long established Zoo and the spectacular beaches of the Jandin peninsular located to the south, or the famous sand dunes of the National Park to the North. Corralejo is about 40 mins drive and from this small harbour town a regular ferry service runs to lanzarote

Notes: We also provide an iron and ironing board and hairdryer there is also a large chest of outdoor toys for the younger ones and we also can provide free of charge a travel cot, highchair and a 3 wheeled all terrain pushchair. We can also, for a small fee, arrange for you to be returned to the airport removing that anxious wait for a taxi to turn up and wondering if they have understood you properly at the end of your holiday.
