A brand new three bedroom town house situated in a quiet location on a private complex in the centre of Caleta De Fuste, which offers a beautiful sandy beach, a variety of bars and restaurants and an 18 hole golf course. The house is furnished to a very high standard and offers three double bedrooms, two bathrooms, downstairs toilet, spacious lounge which comes with a large satellite TV, Video and DVD player and a fully fitted kitchen which comes equipped with washing machine, microwave, hob, cooker and fridge freezer. Two bedrooms have their own private balconies and fitted wardrobes the third bedroom has an en suite and is downstairs. The third bedroom has its own lounge area which has a double sofa bed in it. All rooms are fitted with ceiling fans for your comfort. The house has its own private patio which is furnished with wooden table and chairs and loungers are provided for around the pool. There is a large shared pool which is set in beautiful landscaped gardens.

Location: Caleta de Fuste (El Castillo) i Canary Islands

Nearest Airport: Fuerteventura at 9 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 500 Metres

Caleta De Fuste is just a 10 minute drive from the airport which if you took a taxi would cost you approximately 8 euros. I t is an ideal location for families and couples alike. It has a beautiful sandy horseshoe shaped beach with a picturesque harbour where there are many attractions including the unique Oceanarium, where you can interact with seals. There are many water sports available. Also recommended is a sailing excursion on a 25 meter catamaran where it is possible to site dolphins and a giant turtle. This is all on offer and is just a five minute walk from the house. Caleta De Fuste offers a variety of bars and restaurants ranging from the good old English roast dinner to Italian, Portuguese,French and Chinese. Many bars offer evening entertainment. A new golf course with a driving range and club hire facilities is just a five minute drive away. It is a 18 hole par 70 course which has three large lakes connected by a stream all of which comes into play at several holes.

Our Holiday 2008

What a wonderful holiday we all had. This was our first time visiting the island and could not fault it or the house at all.

The weather was fantastic, ten minutes in the cab from the airport and at home we felt. The location to the pool was excellent just as it is in the pictures. The house was very clean and spacious and had the best sunbeds in the complex. The house was immaculate and extremely well fitted out, we found the stairs not a problem unlike the last review, we would say that the stairs were standard to spanish buildings which we expected and not a problem at all for our two children.

We visited in August and had the pool (which was heated) almost to ourselves, very quiet and relaxing.

There was various shops available local to the house which supplied a vast range of goods, needed for a self-catering holiday.

The owner was fantastic, lovely person and we are looking to book this year.

We found that there was plenty of lovely restaurents close by and personally used the entertainment in the Barcello (all inclusive hotel) most nights which was free to enter and really enjoyable. We would also recommend the Fado Rock steak house if you like your meats.

Lots to do and see on the Island and would highly recommend this house and location.

A fantastic holiday enjoyed by all the family!
Better than expected.
Our holiday home was in immaculate condition and was fully equiped with everything we needed even for our 6 month old baby.
They provided us with a sterilser,high chair and a travel cot.
We would rate our holiday as first class,from the resort to the holiday home!!!!
The owners of our holiday home were extremely helpful and could not do enough for us...
We would like to say thankyou for providing us with the best experience for our first family hoiday!!!! We will be rebooking soon!!!!!! thankyou!!xxx

good for watching the small children at the pool

good equipment in kitchen and living room -

as everywhere on the Island, water from water tap can`t be used as drinking water, is highly chlorited and stinks -

Very dangerous steep! Staircase without - until our stay - any protection fence for toddlers - we were told, it's planned by owner to change it, there will be a fence in future

Perfectly located to watch toddlers around the pool area -

High nose level because of many children:
Not recommended for elder couples - but great for family with children -
Good service - good communication with the owner
the kitchen can be used completely (preparing meals) only by car, because, for example, there is no butcher around, to get good meat, to get food with good choice and reasonable prices, it takes a walk of at least 40 minutes to a good supermarket on the other side of the cove

Anyhow, for somebody who loves this island, the house is a good choice for people with children!!
Owner's Response: Thanks for the comments made Ferdinand.We are glad you had a good holiday. I would however like to just comment on some of the points you raised.
We have arranged for a stair gate to be fitted to ease any worries parents might have with the stairs.
The complex was busy with children during your stay as it was school holiday time,you had 5 children with you for example, but out of school holidays it is very peaceful and would appeal to couples of all ages.
There are supermarkets within a 5 minute walk of the house that are used by most holidaymakers although it is worthwhile doing your first big shop at the supermarket you mention but it is a shame you did not make use of the free bus that runs frequently to that shopping centre from the end of the road. It is something that I will now highlight in our information pack.
