Our Two Weeks of Bliss in Fuerteventura

It was our first trip to the Canary Islands for our family of 4. Our two young daughter's wanted a holiday full of sun, sand, and the sea. We certainly got that and more!! We arrived in Fuerte via a plane and got a taxi to the villa - it was a short drive of only about an hour (The taxi was really easy to rent!). Upon arrival, we were met by the managers of the villa, who gave us a full tour of the property - showing us where everything was switched on, and how to put the pool cover on. The managers were a delightful couple, and were very helpful (They loved very close so they were just a call away if we needed help!!).
The villa is really gorgeous. There is a big bedroom on the first floor, as well as two more bedrooms on the ground floor - one has an ensuite. There is also another bathroom on the ground floor as well as a kitchen and a lounge - not that we spent much time inside!! Outside the villa is a huge patio which opens up onto a pool - the kids simply loved the pool, if we were not on the beach, we were in the pool the whole time. The whole property is surrounded by a big wall, so it was very relaxing for me and the wife - we simply lay in the sun while the kids were playing.
Next to the pool is a lovely hot tub - we spent our late afternoons in the hot tub - a fabulous way to round off our days. The tub was really easy to operate!!
The kitchen has everything you need to keep your family happy - fridge, microwave, cooker, but we mostly used the barbeque that is in the garden. There is nothing quite like having a barbeque under a birght starry sky!!
There is a lovely long beach within walking distance (It took about 15 minutes to walk to it), The kids simply adored the beach!! We also travelled to various other beaches on the island - there is just so much to do, you can do something new every day!!
We were very very happy with our stay at Hollywood Heights. The villa is truly lovely, and exceeded every one of our wishes for a holiday home. We can recommend this villa to everybody who is in need of a stressfree holiday.
We will defnitely come back on our next holiday.
