Travel: There are several golf courses under construction on the island. The Fuerteventura golf club in Caleta de Fuste (45min drive) is open - and held the Spanish Open. Travel: Corralejo is a 40km drive from the airport which takes you along the scenic coastal road, past the protected sand dunes and turquoise waters. Car hire is recommended to make the most of your holiday and all the island has to offer. Distances: Corralejo - 3km; Flag beach - 4km; Caleta de Fuste - 45 mins drive; Airport - 40 mins drive; El Cotillo - 10 mins drive; Water park and bowling - 3km.
