Villa Maria is set in its own beautifully landscaped grounds with uninterrupted views of the mountains. The large heated swimming pool which is completely private enjoys all day sunshine. The inside is spacious and cool and is decorated to an exceptionally high standard throughout. The Villa design revolves around the outside terrace with 4 patio doors ensuring a wonderful airy feel to the whole villa. Even the master bedroom has direct access onto the terrace with both pool and mountain views. The terrace like the pool has all day sunshine if this should suit but also has a covered area that ensures there is sufficient shade to both dine and relax during the hotter parts of the day, of which there are plenty. The barbecue area ensures that alfresco dining is a must. Fuerteventura offers a wide range of activities and water sports all within easy reach and Villa Maria offers the perfect alternative with stunning mountain views and relaxed feel, great to unwind.

Villa Maria is situated in the rustic town of La Oliva with stunning views of the mountains. The villa is centrally located with plenty of quaint rural bars and restaurants on hand locally, yet also being only 10 mins from the unspoilt lagoon beaches of El Cotillo and 15 mins from lively Corralejo with its many bars, restaurants, water parks and miles of sand dune beaches. There is a golf course 30 mins away in Caleta and in Puerto del Rosario you will find a large shopping mall which is just 25 mins away.

Notes: It has a fully fitted modern kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine in the adjacent utility area. There is a spacious sitting/dining room with TV and DVD/ CD theatre system where patio doors open up to outside terrace and again spectacular views of the mountains can be seen. The master bedroom has king size bed facing the patio doors and views of the pool and mountains with en-suite bathroom. There are 2 further twin bedded rooms,1 of which has an en-suite bathroom. All bedrooms have a range of fitted wardrobes. There is also a family bathroom.

Hi Andy/Maria,

Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful villa. It was lovely and clean and very spacious. Did not see one cockroach or mosquito which was good! Just a few lizards but they are so tame which is funny to see. The cold beers, bottle of wine, bottled water was a bonus for us when we got there - Thank you. Also the bed was sooo comfortable, i actually looked forward to going to bed at night.
There was a spot near the beach we went to which was in Costa Calma i think, they had chipmunks!! They were so cute and very tame! We kept feeding them crisps!

Just a few bad points - There were alot of dogs around in the villas close to yours which woke us up a few times as they were constantly barking. Not sure if any one else has experienced this.
Also which we did not know, the mountains drew the clouds in alot so it does not get sunny there until 12/1ish which we found out from one of the locals. He said it was the centre cloud. We love the sun so im glad we hired a car as we decided to go to corralejo where there were no clouds. It was lovely in the afternoons though at the villa! I always love to stay by the pool most days but we must of gone in your pool twice as the clouds just made it to cold to swim.

One last thing, everyone had wrote about Bill & Cath in your little book at the villa and how helpful they were but we just could not get hold of them. We had a stray dog come into the villa which shocked us a bit (we shouldve shut the gate) so we had to try find a rescue place for him. We sorted it ourselves in the end though.

Over all we had a great time and thanks again for all your help.
