There are so many places to eat to suit all tastes and budgets. For upmarket dining we recommend the Tides at the bottom of the road. The Lone star and Fish Pot and for a special evening the Cliff is a must.
Just Grilling is the Caribbean answer to fast food. Sample an excellent lunch from one of the street vendors, where the food is truly Bajan and freshly cooked. For well priced good quality food visit Cocomos a 5 min walk away with happy hour 4:30 to 6:00 its where everyone meets to watch the fabulous sunsets. Out and about in Barbados :
There are so many places to visit and so much to do, and so little time but don't hurry. Although you don't need to hire a car as the public transport is so good, it is fun to hire a mini moke or jeep and find all those places yourself.
The rugged and wild East coast is not to be missed visit Bathsheba then drive down to Bottom Bay this everything you would imagine a Caribbean beach to look like. Take some food and drink with you and have a picnic. Check if there is any horse racing on at the Garrison in Bridgetown, this always guarantees a good afternoon. Polo is a great way to spend and afternoon in the Winter months and the Holders season in March every year is superb . In fact there is something different to do an see every month of the year.
A must is a Catamaran Cruise either with a group of people or book one just for you try Wasn't Me, Captain Ron will take you anywhere, swim with the turtles or just cruise up and down the coast.
