3 Superbly Appointed Apts with large pool and gardens

Two 1 bedroom apartments in Sunset Crest, Hole town on the West Coast one looks directly over the pool and the other just to the left . All the apartments have a superb view of the beautiful gardens from the balcony.

The photos show the apartments with the captions identify each one. They are all very different Apt 1 is ours and we manage the other for friends.

They are well maintained and cared for as we pride ourselves on our high standards. They are fitted with everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

You will find a new pool deck and sun loungers, bar and restaurant all situated in the large gardens.

The apartments are in a superb position 5 min walk to the shops, bars and restaurants in Holetown, which is the up and coming place to stay in Barbados and the West Coast. There is a beach a short walk away with many more to choose from.

A large 1 bedroomed apartment on the 3rd floor directly overlooking the pool and gardens. We pride ourselves on maintaining high standards and so the apt has been upgraded once more. A new fully fitted kitchen, fitted units in the bedroom and living room. Everything is ultra modern and chosen for your comfort. The living room has a large sofa bed, comfortable seating and dining table. The lounge then opens out onto a balcony which is fully furnished with table chairs and a sofa. The bedroom has fitted wardrobes and large twin beds, en suite bathroom with walk in shower. Kitchen is fully equipped with every appliance you could wish for. As mentioned the apt is in a superb position just minutes walk from Holetown. View notes for all our extras.

Golden View Apartments are in the Sunset crest area of Hole town on the beautiful West Coast. Beach is only 5 min walk away. You will find chattel shops, supermarket, internet cafe, banks and boutiques just down the road. You are within walking distance to some of the best restaurants in Barbados. Scuba diving is at the end of the road and you are near to the Famous Sandy Lane hotel, in fact a walk up the road takes you through the estate and some of the most beautiful villas on the island. Walk to the famous 9 hole golf course for views of the island, flora and the famous monkeys, take a banana with you and they will feed straight from your hand. Take a walk down 1st street for Hole town nightlife, don't miss Sunday night Karaoke in the street even if you don't sing its an experience just being there. There are numerous beaches close by all as special as the next. The area is fun but relaxed, laid back and peaceful.

Try our cafe bar in the centre of the chattel village Cafe Bar Carizma for breakfast, lunch and Thursday night authentic Tapas . Sample an excellent lunch from one of the street vendors, where the food is truly Bajan and freshly cooked. For well priced good quality food visit Zaccio's a 5 min walk away with happy hour 4:30 to 6:00 its where everyone meets to watch the fabulous sunsets. Out and about in Barbados :

There are so many places to visit and so much to do, and so little time but don't hurry. Although you don't need to hire a car as the public transport is so good, it is fun to hire a mini moke or jeep and find all those places yourself.

The rugged and wild East coast is not to be missed visit Bathsheba then drive down to Bottom Bay this everything you would imagine a Caribbean beach to look like. Take some food and drink with you and have a picnic. Check if there is any horse racing on at the Garrison in Bridgetown, this always guarantees a good afternoon. Polo is a great way to spend and afternoon in the Winter months and the Holders season in March every year is superb . In fact there is something different to do an see every month of the year.

A must is a Catamaran Cruise either with a group of people or book one just for you try Wasn't Me, Captain Ron will take you anywhere, swim with the turtles or just cruise up and down the coast.

WOW FANTASTIC

The apartment is in a word fantastic . You have everything you need and it is very modern . The pool is the best on the island and the gardens so large. We just could not have asked for anything more. The extras came in useful ie beach mats, cool box, beach towels etc. We visited most of the restaurants but the highlight was the Holders season . Anita arranged tickets for us . It is an experience you should not miss set in the grounds of Holders House the events ere excellent and the atmosphere magical. Next stop was the Polo we had never been before and it is a great social afternoon out. Anita & Dave took us to see their new villa in Speightstown it is everything you see in the photos and more with the high ceilings and so superbly decorated and furnished. We are going to be torn where to stay on our next visit . We highly recommend this apartment and the help Anita & Dave gave us in planning a great holiday

Perfect Location For Relaxed Stay

Used Anita's appartment for my first visit to Barbados, and my wife and I couldn't have been happier.
The appartment was exactly as described, clean, comfortable and well equipped, as well as being perfectly centrally located in the long block, near the lifts and overlooking the pool. The little extra touches like beach towels and mats, cool box, face mask and flippers, lots of books and DVDs, etc, were well appreciated. Anita herself was very welcoming and helpful.
The pool and gardens are terrific, and never crowded during our stay, although it was of course the low season. The open sided Chinese restaurant on site is excellent and very reasonably priced; we had several take-aways which we ate on our balcony.
The well stocked supermarket and small shopping mall in Sunset Crest is less than ten minutes' walk, and the bus stops are outside it on the main road. As long as you don't mind walking a few hundred yards, there is absolutely no need to hire a car during your stay, everywhere is accessible by bus. All journeys of whatever length have a standard fare of B$ 1.50 (about 50p in UK money), buses are frequent, and are also great fun, particularly the private (yellow) buses which have reggae music blasting out of the speakers and also give change, which the public buses (blue) don't, so make sure you have the right money on those!
Highlights of our holiday included the five hour lunch and snorkelling cruise on the Calabaza catamaran out of Bridgetown (check them out on the internet - at 100US$ per person, a little more than most, but well worth it), our visit to historic plantation house St Nicholas Abbey in the north of the island, and the Friday night fish fry at Oistins, which was packed out and very lively.
Other good discoveries - the Fisherman's Pub on the seafront in the centre of Speightstown, very simple and basic but a great place to eat delicious Bajan food at rock bottom prices (lunchtime only). For sweet and savoury constituents of a picnic, check out the bakery 100 yds up the road from the Fisherman's pub.
Best beach: if you want to avoid the hustlers at Sandy Lane and Paynes Bay, get a Speightstown bus and go a mile north of Holetown, alighting at the Lone Star Restaurant bus stop. Cut down between the buildings and sit in the shade of the big tree directly outside the restaurant on the almost desterted beach. The sea floor is sandy and easy on the feet; Ju Ju's beach bar is one minutes walk south for a snack or sundowner cocktail.

Fantastic!

This was our 6th visit to Barbados and to the Holetown area, but our 1st to Golden View. The accomodation was just superb: a real home from home with everything you could need and more. The apartment is beautifully furnished and maintained, and the air con was a real bonus. The description on the website is extremely accurate but you really do have to go to appreciate how good it is!
The pool, bar, restaurant and grounds are lovely and make for very lazy days. There is a very detailed guide in the apartment to help you decide what to do. The building is manned 24/7 and the whole place has a welcoming and homely feel to it.
The beach and Holetown are a short walk away and there are excellent bars and restaurants to choose from, as well as a variety of small shops, duty free and a supermarket.
Anita was so helpful throughout the whole process, from booking through to meeting us at the apartment. Customer service was faultless and beyond the call of duty. We really couldn't have been made to feel more welcome.
We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the property and we hope to return very soon.

Absolutely wonderful

I do not know what to add, because the other reviews said it all. This is our 1st time visiting Barbados, and everything is more than expected , especially this Apt. It is beautiful, comfortable and spotlesly clean. The pool is huge, very clean and quiet. Golden view is a short distance from beach, supermaket, restaurant. There is also an excellent chinese restaurant on site, and the price is reasonable. . The welcoming package from Anita &Dave was thoughtful and well appreciated. We'll definitely be back, just hope that we'll be able to book this apt.
