It has a big hardwood deck and dining table nestling under a Mango tree. - - - - THE POOL APARTMENT has 1 bedroom and sleeps 2 adults + up to 2 children on folding beds in the living/dining room. It opens onto a tiled deck with loungers and a hardwood dining table. - - - - BOTH are set in an acre of glorious tropical gardens full of sweet scented Fangipani, Golden Palms, Mangos and passing Green Monkeys. - - - - MULLINS BEACH is 4 minutes stroll with lovely sand and a great beach restaurant. Gibbes beach is a hidden gem 800 yards away.

The Pool Apartment is built of Coral stone and hardwood. It is extremely light and airy with one bedroom and a bathroom with a tiled shower. It has an open plan living room / dining room / kitchen with a curved breakfast bar. - - - OUTSIDE there is a dining and sun terrace with a hardwood table for relaxed dining under the covered part and comfortable loungers for sunbathing overlooking the pool. There are also club chairs for relaxing in. - - - HARDWOOD furniture and colourful modern fabrics provide a comfortable and cheerful blend. The apartment has a well equipped kitchen. We can provide 2 folding or blow up beds to sleep 2 children. - - - ENTERTAINMENT includes a TV, DVD and Radio CD player, a toy box with a good selection of games / toys, plus plenty of books and DVDs for books for all ages.

POOL APT GUEST BOOK.....We loved the pool apartment, its architecture, layout, facilities, location. Gardens were gorgeous and its general location at Mullins is hard to beat on the island. Julie.

Pool Apartment Excellent & Relaxing Holiday

We had a great 2 weeks in the pool apartment in March, the apartment is light, airy and very comfortable. We both enjoyed the gardens and the pool, so much so that most of our mornings were spent reading in the garden or on the patio going for the occasional swim to cool off. Enjoying good lunches at Mullins on the beach and the Fisherman's Pub then going for a stroll or bus ride in the afternoon. We also thoroughly enjoyed the home cooked food which Anthea made for us especially her Pork. Thank you Simon & Sarah for a most enjoyable stay.

The Pool Apartment is fantastic!

The Pool Apartment was just what my wife and I were looking for in Barbados - quiet, quaint and everything one needs when relaxing and melting the stress away.

The pool outside our door allowed for a cooling dip whenever we wanted, and Mullins Beach, one of the nicest I have seen in my life, is literally a 2 minute "barefoot" walk away.

The apartment is well laid out, plenty of room for 2. The patio served many an evening of reading a book or watching the sunset with the BBQ smoking away in the background. The location is perfect - away from the limelight and flash, nestled amounst a fantastic setting of trees and character villas that you can walk in the neighbourhood.

Getting to town is very easy, 5 minutes and you're in the grocery store. I would suggest getting picked up at the airport and having your rental car dropped off at the villa - you won't spend much time in Bridgetown anyways. There's no need!

We were so happy with the property and the help that we're bringing more family back for a second stay next year. We're staying in the Main House, which would be more child friendly I might add, but also houses more people.

I would recommend the Pool Apartment for an outgoing couple of any age that likes to relax and choose their own adventures. Everything you need to see is an easy drive from the apartment, and navigation is simple. What a great location!

I should make a comment about Simon and Sarah, who own Mullins Bay House. They are two phenomenal people who bent over backwards to accomodate our every need with answers to questions and recommendations on just about everything. They really have this down to a science - many thanks to the both of you!

Barbados easily surpasses Jamaica, Mexico or any of the US hot destinations in terms of being laid back, warm and wonderful. Hardly any hawkers, wonderful food and gourgeous scenery.

And Mullins Bay House was a large part of that. You won't go wrong staying here.

just got back from a fantastic 10 days in the pool house apartment and feel like we had a little slice of heaven! we are a family of four with 2 children age 6 and 3 but the apartment was the perfect fit. there are doors from the bedroom, kitchen and living area and it was great to have them all open so we could come and go easily and keep our eye on the pool. even though we share the garden with the other houses the apartment felt very private and very much our own space. The children loved the visting monkeys, the friendly birds and the mango tree with the little swing! staff are really friendly and helpful. being able to use the laundry room was really useful. Mullins beach is only a short walk away and lovely. nice bar/restaurant with great food. lots of activities to do but not crowded with people. the waves were a bit pounding sometimes for the kiddies. weather really sunny and hot apart from 3 days of downpouring rain but we think this was because the england cricket team were over playing! We hired a car for some of the holiday but also used the buses which were really handy and fun. barbados is a beautiful country....we are already thinking about our next trip! xxx

Pool Apartment, Mullins Bay House ST. Peter

We found that the Pool Apartment at Mullins Bay house was everything that we hoped for. The grounds were picturesque and well maintained. The apartment was clean and staff gave excellent customer service. I would recommend this place to all my friends and will definately be staying there from now on.
It is set in an ideal location, not to far from the beach and Speightstown.
The owners provided for all our needs especially as we had an 8 month old baby (who loved the pool.) If we had any queries , these were answered straight away.
All these things made a stay one of the best times that we have had in Barabados .
