The accommodation at Cherry Garth stands in beautiful landscaped gardens with its own SWIMMING POOL and children's play area; a wonderful setting for a family holiday. Located in the lovely residential area of Sunset Crest, Holetown, St. James, only 150 metres from the beach, shops, bars and restaurants. Built in charming colonial style, Cherry Garth comprises a 3 bedroom villa and 2 studios, which can be rented separately, or together to suit your requirements. Sleeps 2 - 15 people. The properties are tastefully furnished and equipped with modern amenities and access to laundry facilities (arranged with the housekeeper). Facilities include: Air conditioning (token operated), Ceiling Fans, Portable Fans, Hair-dryers, Wall Safe in all bedrooms, Stereo/CD/Radio, DVD in villa, Video in studios, Cable/Satellite TV, Gas barbecue, Towels & Linen, Maid service, Travel cots, high chair and baby bath also available. These two lovely self contained STUDIOS are ideal for a couple or one person and can be occupied as part of the main villa or on their own. Built in charming colonial style, both the SUNRISE and SUNSET STUDIOS comprise kitchenette, double bedroom area and bathroom/shower. They are tastefully furnished and have access to laundry facilities (arranged with housekeeper). Facilities include: Air Conditioning (token operated), Ceiling Fans, Cable/Satellite TV & Video, Wall Safe, Gas barbeque, Hairdryers, Iron/Board, Towels & Linen, Maid Service, Sunbeds. Mobile/cell phones available to rent. Both studios have their own entrance leading to the veranda, gardens and pool. One of the studios has access to the main villa through an interconnecting door, which remains locked if rented separately. Each sleep 2 with foldaway bed available for a 3rd person.

GOLF...!: Barbados is a golfer's paradise! There are several excellent courses and within 5 minutes drive of Cherry Garth is the famous Sandy Lane Golf Club, which backs on to the Sunset Crest Residential Estate. In October 2004 Tiger Woods chose this venue for his wedding! We were a group of 7 using the villa and one apartment, we all had a fab time. The property was clean and well maintained, and very convenient for the local facilities- the furthest we had to walk was 10 minutes, and I could have caught a bus to there but I couldn't be bothered!

The guest book in the villa was very handy too- previous visitors had left tips about where was good to eat and which trips were worth trying, which was helpful even though I had been to Barbados before and stayed in the same area.

There were a couple of very minor glitches but nothing that actually caused any inconvenience to us- one night one of the air- conditioning units started leaking but it was mended the following morning, and the little details made up for any problems- like the coolbox we found so you can easily take a picnic out.

We will definitely be going to Barbados again, and everyone in the group said they would stay at Cherry Garth next time if it was possible as it was so handy for everything we wanted.
