Buses run every 2 hours , or 5 minutes by car to local amenities such as shops and banks etc. Bakers Woods is in parish of St. Peter, located 5 minutes drive from Mullins beach which boast some of the best beaches on the west coast. Nearest town is Speightstown which is the second largest town in Barbados with a good range of shops and a variety of restaurants, famously Fisherman's pub. Holetown in St. James under 5 miles to the south.
