Our second floor apartment in Golden View is of superior quality, well furnished, fully equipped and is located just a few hundred metres from the beautiful white sand beaches of the Caribbean. The 5 acre Golden View condominium property has a large 25 metre fresh water pool, complete with a pool-side bar and restaurant. Our spacious balcony overlooks the garden area with its profusion of tropical plants, flowers and trees. Within the building is a coin-operated laundromat for the convenience of owners and guests.

Notes to the rental rates

• Rates above based on 2 persons for first 14 nights;
  Discount of $5 US/night applicable for third week;
  Discount of $10 US/night applicable for fourth week and beyond;
  Add $10 US/night for third person.
  
• Complimentary airport meet and greet service for 10 days or more.
  For shorter periods, the service is available on request for US$80.
  
• Rates also include twice-weekly maid service plus beach towels and beach chairs

Meet and greet service -

For stays of 10 days or more, we offer our complimentary 'meet and greet' service including your personal reception at Grantley Adams International Airport by our on-island rep, who will greet you outside the customs area and arrange for your comfortable transportation by taxi to Golden View (and back again following your vacation). The following day, by appointment, our management rep. will brief you on Barbados in general, plus places to go, sights to see, places to eat, tours, rentals, reservations, etc…, any or all of which may be arranged for you if desired. The service of our rep for consultation / advice is available throughout your vacation and on an emergency basis 24 hours a day. For stays of less than 10 days, this service is optional, at an additional cost of US $80, about the same as a return taxi fare to Golden View.

Miscellaneous -

The bedroom air conditioner is coin-operated. The Barbados one dollar coin is used exclusively and provides approx. 2 1/2 hours of operation. A rollaway bed is available for a third person. The tap water in Barbados is pure and safe. The switchboard is operated by a receptionist and/or security guard 24 hours a day. Our 'Game drawer' contains several games that may be used at your leisure, such as chess, checkers, cribbage, backgammon, dominos, scrabble, Shut the Box, and playing cards.

Facilities and things to do in the neighbourhood -

Barbados is regarded as 'the jewel' of the Caribbean, and the west coast in St.James is affectionately known as 'the platinum coast' because of its clean, glittering beaches and spectacular sunsets. Unlike the turbulent east coast, our waters are calm, clear and warm. It is ideal for swimming, snorkeling, wind surfing, water skiing, scuba diving or just relaxing on the beach enjoying the sun, sand and sights. The Baku Beach Club in Sunset Crest on the sea shore is only five minutes from Golden View, and features a pool, bar, and restaurant. The West Side Tennis Club is adjacent and the 45 hole championship Sandy Lane Golf Club is next door. Also in the community are 2 shopping malls, with department stores, speciality shops, restaurants, a full service (President's Choice) grocery store and several banks. A 'chattel house village' of additional speciality shops caters to vacationers' every need. There are 25 restaurants, from fast food to fine dining, within walking distance.
