Art Studio is an attractive, secure small complex of apartments in an enviable position on the west coast, close to Holetown, St. James. and nestled between the exclusive Sandpiper Hotel and Discovery Bay Beach Hotel. There is direct access to a beautiful beach and the Caribbean Sea, through our tropical gardens. The well-established trees and brightly coloured plants give plenty of opportunity to find a secluded, shaded space with lots of garden chairs and loungers. There is a daily maid service with the bed linen, hand and bath towels changed twice weekly. We do provide beach towels. There are bound folders in the apartments giving comprehensive information on how to get the most from your time on the island. Each apartment has free, unlimited use, wireless broadband internet facilities.Our apartments are comfortable and very tastefully furnished with modern appliances throughout. Art Studio has a relaxed tropical feel, and is perfect for a romantic getaway at any time of the year.

Art Studio is on the 'Platinum' West Coast, with its fine sandy beaches, and calm, warm, crystal clear sea. The beautiful gardens provide a shaded alternative. The trees, plants and shrubs are a blaze of colour no matter what the time of year Humming birds and beautiful butterflies are constant visitors. Art Studio is located 5 minutes, level walk north of Holetown, where there is a shopping complex consisting of a large well stocked supermarket, doctor's surgery, pharmacy,specialist boutiques, banks. A parade of brightly coloured chattel houses sell a wide range of locally crafted goods. There are numerous restaurants to suit all palates and purses, within a 5 minutes walk. The Cliff Restaurant and Lone Star Restaurant, both Internationally acclaimed, are a 5 minutes drive. The golf courses of Royal Westmoreland and Sandy Lane are a 5 minutes drive with Royal Barbados some 20 minutes. The Kensington Oval, the best known of all West Indian Cricket Grounds is around 20 minutes away.

Bajans (as the Barbadian people call themselves) are perhaps the island's greatest asset. Their friendliness is legendary and they celebrate local traditions with such pride and joy that you are bound to get drawn into the festivities. You are assured a very warm welcome from our friendly staff whose service and hospitality is second to none. Barbados is also famous for wonderful cuisine, exquisite rum, a thriving artistic community and the infectious beat of calypso and reggae. As well as excellent diving, sailing and game fishing, Barbados offers plenty of opportunity for land-based pursuits, with high quality horse racing at historic Garrison Savannah, prestigious golf tournaments, top-class polo and, of course, cricket!

Full time Staff: We are most fortunate to enjoy the services of a very loyal and professional staff. Audrey, our housekeeper, is in charge of the day to day running of Art Studio. Should you wish to be met at the Airport / Docks, then Harry, will be happy to bring you to the apartment and see that you are comfortable. Should you require groceries for your first night, then Helena, our maid, will arrange this. We will not ask you to vacate the apartment prior to your intended departure time, and a member of staff will return you to your point of destination, should you wish. Barbados is very well served by a public bus service, which is both frequent and inexpensive. The nearest Bus stops are close by.

Eating out / eating in: Art Studio is less than a five minutes walk from 1st and 2nd Street, Holetown, where you will find an amazing array of restaurants, bars and clubs. If we start with 2nd Street here you will find Lexy's Piano Bar, where there is a party going on most nights of the week, but their liveliest nights are on the weekend Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They always have live entertainment with someone on the piano, and on a Sunday evening they have karaoke. Here you can spot some very famous personalities, who are staying on the west coast and like to frequent this bar. You will find both Mediterranean and Cantonese food nearby. If you fancy eating Indian food then head to Sitar. For pizza and Italian food lovers, then you should head to Spago. For those who like French cuisine and fresh seafood, then there is The Mews is the place for you. The world renowned Cliff is a five minutes drive. We are delighted with and proud of the feed back we have received from our guests, so many of whom express a genuine desire and eagerness to return to us.
We do not to attempt to undermine others at Art Studio, with claims of superiority, but simply state that we are extremely confident that our properties are well furnished, well decorated, and that we have done everything possible to provide a very relaxing and comfortable environment.

These apartments are our home for several months of the year, and we strive to make everything just perfect.
