I have spent part of my winter break at Cassie 11, located in the beautiful hilltop community of Royal Westmorland, for the past three years. It has become a place of refelection and longing during my hectic summer work season and the dark cold months of early winter. Cassie 11 is a three bedroom, three full bath gracious home with full kitchen, separate dining room and large open living room. The kitchen on one of the bedrooms open onto a private courtyard, another bedroom has a very private balcony overlooking the golf course and the living room and third bedroom open onto a large walled patio, surrounded in flowering shrubs - this too overlooks the rolling hills of the golf course. In the early evening, you can sit on this patio with a cocktail and watch the antic of the Island's Green monkeys playing in the distance. This patio is covered, protecting one from the heat of the sun or the occasional tropical rain shower. The home and gardens are very well maintained, meticulously clean and the home is very well equipped with high end linens and towels, bath robes, toiletries, library, high speed internet, TV, DVD, stero, and laundry facilities (Jan, who comes in several times a week, is wonderful and is happy to do personal laundry as well - she is also a great source of local information!). The well equiped kitchen and dining room makes entertaining a delight. We have made friends in the community and everything is there to throw a cocktail party or a small dinner party. We take advantage of the warm weather with always a hint of a breeze to go for long walks on the golf course or on the streets that wind through the community - people are forced to drive slowly (speed bumps) - so walking on the streets are safe even though the side walks are limited. The Royal Westmorland has its own golf course - some of our party golfs - I don't - and they always seems to enjoy the course. Several times we have eaten at the club house - the setting is spectacular and the food and service are great. Just below villa is the work-out/pool area called the Sanctuary which is staffed with experienced instructors, personal trainers and care takers. The pool is large (a little too cool for me, but then I like it to be at least 88 degrees hot), there is a lovely hot tub, and a large work out room with lots of equipment. You can catch the shuttle bus from here to the local beach. There is lots to do on the island and friendly taxi drivers if you don't care to drive.
Owner's Response: This villa is truly a treat - everything you could need, golf, beach, exercise, tennis amid a luxury setting. Come back soon
