SUPER AUGUST SPECIAL RATE! The Gatehouse is a charming, little villa located in the quiet upscale gated community of Pavilion Grove Estate. These six properties were built by renowned developer Mike Pemberton. The attention to detail and the quality of the fixtures and fittings are extremely high and the villa includes ceiling fans and air conditioning. The outdoor decking area includes a lovely private plunge pool. All bedrooms have air conditioning. Both bathroom are ensuite and consist of twin sinks, a tastefully designed shower and separate toilet. Directly opposite the Fairmont Royal Pavillion Hotel, The Gate House provides a wonderful holiday home for family and friends, especially honeymooners, newly-weds or just couples seeking a quiet romantic getaway at a reasonable price, and is conveniently located a few short metres from shopping centres, the infamous LONESTAR beach and Restaurant and Royal Westmorland Golf Course

I stayed here at the Gatehouse and it was the best vacation i've ever had in Barbados! The property was immaculately clean, the staff i.e the house keeper and property manager very kind and helpful. I found beach chairs to rent just across the street. I can't say i had any problems at this villa, it was quiet peaceful and has a lovely little private deck that can seat about 8 ppl and it is well equipped. I especially liked the large barbeque grill on the deck. we made good use of this! Will definitely use this again, the cleanliness and kind hospitality really made a difference!

We stayed here for 10 days in May/June 2008. It was very well equipped and extremely clean & well presented so was a great base. Would use it again. On the minus side we had plumbing problems and there is no safe for passports etc. Nearest place we found to rent beach beds and umbrellas was Mullins Bay - maybe a 10 minute drive. Recommend getting a car as no shops nearby - though as an alternative there are lots of taxis
