4, Porters Court is a luxury chattel-style villa located in St James, opposite the Royal Pavilion Hotel on the West Coast of Barbados. The house is just 3 minutes walk away from the turquoise waters and tropical sands of the Caribbean sea. It is one of 8 colourful villas on a private estate, situated next to the swimming pool, accessed from the side of the patio. It offers two spacious double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, fully fitted kitchen, living area and study and a delightful veranda where you can chill out and enjoy cool daytime and evening breezes. The gardens are lush and tropical, and provide all the colour and scent of the Caribbean and an irresistible attraction for hummingbirds. It's genuinely our home from home, the perfect place to unwind, relax and enjoy Barbados.

Porters is ideally located close to all the local amenities and excellent restaurants, and bars the West Coast has to offer, including our local, the Lone Star Restaurant. The golf course at Royal Westmoreland is only 5 minutes away, as are the tennis Courts at Sugar Hill. All forms of water sports are available nearby plus numerous other sporting activities and places of interest should you choose or you can just spend your days idling at the pool or beach which is only 200 metres away. The local supermarket is a short bus journey away at Holetown, the lively West Coast town, where you can also find banks, post office, doctor's surgery, Westside Gym and numerous shops, bars restaurants and other entertainment. Grantley Adams International Airport is approximately 40 minutes drive away.

  • All prices are in pounds sterling and subject to availability. All rates are subject to change and review and may vary at any time. We will confirm the correct amount on enquiry or submission of the booking form. Payment can be made in UK sterling or US dollar cheque, or by sterling or dollar bank transfer.
    A 25% deposit is required to secure a booking. This deposit is non-refundable. The balance is due 8 weeks before the date of your arrival. We cannot refund your payment if you cancel after this 8 week point. You can pay in stages as long as the deposit and final payment are made on time.
  • Check out time is usually at your convenience. However, if we have another arrival on the same day, a 10:00 am departure time will apply.

Barbecue also available. All rooms are air conditioned and have overhead fans. All linens including beach towels are provided and there is maid service twice a week, more on request.

A perfect retreat in which to relax and unwind with as much or as little as you want to do. Thanks for all the good suggestions — yoga on the Calabaza balcony overlooking the sea, 9am on a beautiful Saturday morning was one of the best.' Kathleen, July 2006.
'The villa was perfect, close to the beach, close to Holetown and close to the best restaurant on the island, the Lone Star. A trip to the East Coast is a must and if you feel really adventurous you must go on one of the local yellow buses for a taste of true Barbados. We loved it and will definitely be back.' A wonderful place to stay with the perfect mix of comfort, style and practicality. A great base for exploring the island and making the most of some excellent local restaurants and beaches, but is also a lovely place to relax and enjoy being 'at home'. Fantastic little development in a quiet residential area just moments away from a fantastic beach. Exceptionally clean and beautifully maintained. The owners clearly cherish this holiday home. Fantastic value for money in this part of Barbados
