Coast/Beaches: St Peter, on the West coast of Barbados is often referred to as the Platinum Coast. It is renowned for clear warm water and magnificent beaches. Barbados is a coral island and as its beaches are made from ground coral they are clean and have a fine grain. In St Peter you will find beautiful sand. Mullins Bay or Gibbs Beach in St Peter are places to relax under the Casuarina trees. There are many beaches along the coast and Heywoods Beach in St Peter is stunning, wide and quiet. You will find calm water perfect for swimming and snorkelling, and miles of white sand beaches to walk along. Brilliant sunshine and a wide range of places of interest make St Peter in Barbados a perfect Caribbean choice. Farley Hill National Park in St Peter is the place for those wanting an idyllic stroll in shady, green gardens with spectacular blooms. The park has amazing views of the East coast and the ruins of a sugar planter's mansion. Barbados Wildlife Reserve is opposite.

Shopping: The local tourist areas are less than 2 miles away, for shops, supermarkets, banks etc. Local bars are within walking distance and an abundance of restaurants are all within easy reach.

Water Sports: A full range of watersports are available within 10 minutes walking distance

Golf: The exclusive and famous Sandy Lane golf course is a mere 20 minutes drive away. Frequented by The Royal family and Tiger Woods.

A belated note to thank you for the rental of your beautiful villa. It was everything that we had expected and so much more - a place that we were actually pleased to 'come home' to after a hard day's sunbathing/swimming/touristy type stuff etc!



It was lovely also to meet you mum and she was very kind to us - please send her our best wishes and kind regards. I would most highly recommend your villa to anyone wanting a well-appointed home-from-home whilst holidaying in Barbados - even the 30 minute or so drive to Bridgetown and the SE coast added to the joy of being in Barbados.



We all had a wonderful holiday and this was in no small way due to the lovely and spacious Palmtree Villa. I would be more than happy for you to use these comments in your advertising and Jacqui, I and the girls are already looking forward to booking with you again in 2010, hopefully for 3 weeks next time!

Description was accurate..Was reasonably well maintained. Customer service was good..I would recommend the property to a friend. It was particularly good for the family gathering as there was room including the patio and enclosed garage area to alleviate crowding.The location was far enough from the main town hubs bit close enough to access them if necessary.

The villa was very spacious and was situated in a good location in regards to getting to the beach. It was clean but didn't give the regular cleaning service it mentioned. Some of the appliances were not in working order which made a difference. The dishwasher and dryer weren't working which left us without clean towels when they came to clean because it was raining so much and who wants to wash dishes on vacation? The ad also mentioned that there was air conditioning in several locations on the site and not once did it say it was ONLY in the master bedroom. Sharing a room with everyone because its so hot is not my idea of a good vacation especially when your expecting differently. I thought it was misleading. WelI we did have three fans that helped until 2 stopped working.We got 1 replaced. I would only recommend to someone who doesn't care about those things. It is in walking distance of a few places to eat and a gas station for emergency items but not very well lit. Not somewhere to let the kids roam free. One of the good things is that it was easy access to bus transportation. No real need for a car.
