Imagine waking up to a beautiful view over Rodney Bay (see picture), having your breakfast on the patio or balcony and then relaxing by the pool. Maybe take a short stroll to Reduit Beach or the shops and nearby restaurants and bars. Number 4 Bay View is in a quiet gated complex of 12 new luxury condominiums built in 2004 in the sought after Rodney Bay area. The downstairs comprises a fully fitted and equipped kitchen, dining area and through lounge - giving a great sense of space and freedom. There is a washing machine, dryer, large fridge/freezer, TV, Radio. Upstairs the master bedroom has a double bed and the 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds. Each bedroom has its own en suite shower/bathroom. A comfortable double air mattress can be used for extra guests. The property has full air conditioning throughout and is clean, modern and furnished to a high standard. All the photos were taken with my own pocket digital camera - no clever camera tricks, it really is that good !

Remember that St Lucia is about 5 hours behind the UK Bay View is 5 minutes walk to the beach or the shops or restaurants and bars. It is in a quiet bay side location with ever changing views across the bay. Reduit Beach is a mile long beach with golden sand an crystal clear warm water. Ideal for snorkelling, water skiing, windsurfing or just relaxing and catching some rays. Our closest neighbour is Martinique, 21 miles from our northern tip. St. Vincent is 26 miles from our Southern tip. (Both are visible on clear days), and Barbados 100 miles to the southwest. The island is 27 miles long and 14 wide, a total of 238 sq. miles. We recommend that you book your flights with NEWMONT or direct with VIRGIN.

Upstairs, there are two air-conditioned double bedrooms with enclosed patios and ensuite bathroom. Downstairs is a comfortable air-conditioned sitting/dining room, which leads out onto a small patio, a powder room, fully equipped kitchen, laundry room with washer and dryer. The property is tastefully furnished with an up-market Caribbean look and feel. This is the original BayView which is located right on the edge of the Rodney Bay with wonderful views over Paradise from your back garden, patio or balcony. Our Condominium (town house / terraced house) is located in a tranquil area of Rodney Bay and is VERY CENTRAL.

Private moorings are supplied directly behind the villa, if you arrive with a yacht. St. Lucia has two airports. Hewanorra International Airport at View Fort - some 40 miles south of the capital Castries and George F. L. Charles Airport, 2 miles from the centre of Castries. Charles airport is 15 minutes taxi ride away from Rodney Bay and Hewanorra airport is 1 hour 30 mins. Most international flights land at Hewanorra airport because it is a bigger airport. The taxi fare from Charles airport is EC$40 (US$15) and EC$160 (US$60) from Hewanorra airport. If you are booking from the UK, we recommend that you book your flights with NEWMONT TRAVEL. We also suggest looking directly at the Virgin Atlantic website.

CURRENCY - The East Caribbean Dollar (E.C.$). The US$, is accepted as well in most shops and restaurants. CLIMATE - From November to February the daytime temperature is approximately 27 C, with a nighttime temperature of approximately 21 C - 22 C. December and January are the coolest months.
