Apartment Sofia is a beautifully furnished spacious two bed apartment situated on the ground floor of a brand new building with swimming pool and large sunbathing terrace on the beautiful island of Ciovo in the village of Slatine. A private terrace also offers you breath taking views of the surrounding area, across the sea to the mountains of the mainland. The sea is aqua blue and there is a pebbly beach just 50 m from the house. The apartment is situated in a quiet neighborhood, a few minutes walk to a secluded beach and 15-minute drive to the historic town of Trogir. The island of Ciovo is connected by a bridge to the town of Trogir which is a famous cultural and historical tourist destination being a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Alternatively rent a car and explore the natural beauties of the island or visit Trogir town and enjoy a day strolling through the little alleyways of this picturesque walled medieval town or doing a bit of yacht spotting.

Means of access: Further afield, a 30 km drive away, is the city of Split where you can wander through the 1700 year old alleyways of the Dioclecean's Palace. Easy and regular access to the mainland makes Ciovo a great place to have not just a relaxing beach holiday with the whole island to explore by scooter, boat or car, but also makes for a convenient base from which to visit the historic sites of Split, Trogir, the beautiful Krka waterfalls, adventures rafting on Cetina river and other interesting places on the mainland.

This is a very spacious apartment with a beautiful view.
The apartment has everything, from an oven to a dish washer to airconditioning. Two bedrooms, with 6 people 2 persons sleep on the couch/bed in the living room.
Nice swimming pool, which the kids enjoyed very much.
Close to the nice old town Trogir.

My partner and I recently stayed in Apartment Sofia and it was truly wonderful. It is very spacious and clean, extremely well equipped and the furniture and appliances were of the highest standard. The view across the sea to the mainland is stunning and it was so relaxing to sit out on the balcony. The shared pool is also a great size and well maintained. There is a supermarket only a couple of minutes walk from the apartment which has a very good stock of basic groceries and there are three or four nice restaurants down by the harbour, about 10 minutes walk. The bus service to Trogir is excellent but we preferred the water taxi which also goes to Split. The agent was extremely helpful and arranged taxis for us to and from the airport. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone looking for a restful holiday with first class accommodation.

great apartment, wonderful view and setting

I have just returned from two weeks in this beautiful apartment. The pictures don't do it justice, it really is lovely with all the facilities that you need and more! The view is breathtaking and the setting lovely and peaceful whilst being within easy reach of the village on foot or Trogir by car ( a car is recommended to get about in the area) I would recommend this apartment to anybody wanting a quality holiday in a lovely spacious clean apartment. The only thing that I would add would be some curtains or blind to the main bedroom as the sun rises at that side of the building and it does wake you early.
