A 2-bed apartment with large terrace overlooking the bay
This modern apartment is situated in Pula's most exclusive suburb - Pjescana Uvala and has spectacular views overlooking the bay, Veruda Marina and headland. It also benefits from a large private terrace with sun loungers and dining furniture for 'al fresco' eating. The kitchen is fully equipped or alternatively you could select the cuisine from the various restaurants around the beach and harbour areas which are 3 mins walk away. The apartment has a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a double sofa bed in the lounge area. It has a modern feel and a well equipped kitchen containing a full oven & hob. The terrace is 70m2 and the views are simply stunning. One of the 5 or 6 restaurants in Pjescana Uvala, 'Valsabbion', regularly appears in the top 5 restaurants in Croatia. Previous guests have chartered a yacht from the marina, enjoyed walking, sightseeing and some a good book and a glass of wine on the terrace! It's the location of this apartment which makes it special !

Pjescana Uvala is the smartest area of Pula. It has a few shops to provide essentials, a bakery and several restaurants. It has a wonderful village atmosphere but Pula is only 5 mins away by car. Here you will find supermarkets, boutiques, numerous restuarants, wonderful historical Roman buildings and a large Roman amphitheatre dating from 1st Century BC. Pjescana Uvala has two beaches both within a 3 minute walk and there are several other beaches within a 10 minute drive. All are pebbly and great for swimming any time of day. The area is ideal for sailing, walking, playing tennis and many more activities. Pula is ideally located to use as a base from which to explore. The surrounding area offers lots to see and do, with the beautiful harbour towns of Porec, Vsar and Rovinj all within 45 minutes drive of Pula. You can also explore the wonderful mountain-top villages of Buje, Motovun, Groznjan, or take a 10 min trip by ferry across to the fantastic Brijuni Islands,

How to get there?
There are now several chartered flights direct to Pula from the UK - Thomson Flights is worth looking at. These are reasonable value outside of school holidays. Alternatively you can fly Ryanair from Stansted and Dublin straight to Pula. A new route is Easyjet (Luton and Bristol to Rijeka). Rijeka is about 70 miles away so should take about 2 hours max. Easyjet also offer a great service to Venice Marco Polo from numerous airports in the UK. This will take about 3 hours 15 mins by car after that, but worth considering if Ryanair/Stansted is a bit far in the UK. Also we can help you with accommodation in Venice if you want a few days there. Easyjet also fly to Ljubljana in Slovenia and this is also about 2 hours 15 mins. The budget airlines offer fantastic prices. We have paid anything from £1.99 per person to £25.00 per person with both Easyjet and Ryanair!
