Our brand new luxury penthouse apartment is situated in the popular seaside resort of Medulin. The apartment is situated right on Medulin's picturesque harbour, and is in walking distance of the towns many restaurants and shops. It is also very close to one of Croatia's few sandy beaches. The apartment has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, both with fitted wardrobes and bedroom furniture. There is one bathroom with toilet, wash basin and shower. Washing machine in bathroom. A hairdryer is also provided. There is a separate fitted kitchen with ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge , iron & board and all equipment for a self catering holiday. There is a large living / dining area with a settee. There is a satellite TV. This area leads on to a large balcony overlooking the harbour, with table and chairs. The apartment is fully air conditioned. The hotel Arkus next door allows non-residents to use the indoor pool, gym & sauna for a small charge.

Our apartment is situated just 12km from Pula, in the beautiful town of Medulin. This is a popular tourist resort with one of the largest safe horse shoe shaped sandy beach only a 5 min walk away. Step out of the apartment to walk along the bustling harbour lined with restaurants, bars & shops. After a hard day sunbathing or sightseeing what better way to relax than enjoy the local cuisine while watching the sun set over the crystal waters of the Adriatic sea. There are many places of interest within an hours drive, POREC, popular with British, is the largest resort in the Istrian Riviera. The old town was founded by Romans it is a treasure trove with its 6thC Euphrasian basilica a UNESCO world heritage site. The old town boasts shops, bars restaurants & sightseeing trips. ROVINJ is considered one of the prettiest towns with its narrow cobbled streets offering restaurants etc & a museum & aquarium. The nearby town of PULA boasts the 6th largest Roman amphitheatre in the world.

Getting there.: Fly with charter flight companies from most UK airports to Pula airport (15 min transfer) from May to October. Ryanair start flying into Pula from London Stansted October 06 three times a week (Tues, Thurs, Sat) all year round and from Dublin to Pula from Feb 07 three times a week (Tues, Thurs, Sat) all year round. Fly with Ryanair to Trieste from London Stansted (2 hour transfer). Fly with Easyjet to Rijeka from London Luton (1 hour transfer). Fly with several airlines to Venice (3 hour transfer by road, or take a high speed ferry to Pula.) All transfers and car hire can be arranged. Thomson fly from Bristol to Pula every Tuesday.

Property was accurately described, very clean and in good condition. The owners were helpful and had provided all that was needed in the apartment for a great holiday. The view from the balcony of the harbour was lovely! Medulin is a family beach resort with lots to do, you don't need a car when staying here but it is great to have one to explore the beautiful coastline, inland towns and villages in Istria.
