Villa Jade is a stunning stone villa. Within villa Jade there are 4 luxury self contained apartments available for rent. The villa is on the waters edge with wonderful sea and mountain views, steps leading down to a small pebbled beach just in front of the villa, inc private boat mooring. There are 2 ground floor apartments with full air-con, each sleeping 2+2 persons, consisting double bedroom, lounge/diner with double sofa-bed and fully fitted kitchen, bathroom and SAT TV + car parking. Both G/F apartments lead out to large terrace's with wonderful sea and mountain views. Ground floor appts 1&2 are inter-connecting, so can be rented separately or as one large apartment sleeping up to 8 persons. Our L/G floor appt sleeps 2+2 and is highly finished. Our attic apt sleeps 4+2, consisting of 2 double bedrooms, lounge/diner with double sofa-bed & full A/C, 24'' SAT TV, fully fitted kitchen, luxury bathroom with corner bath, sept toilet. Wonderful sea and mountain views, parking for 2 cars

The attic apartment is a beautifully finished modern space with marble floors to the main living area, highly polished parquet floors to the bedrooms. Very large living/dinning room seating up to 6 people, fully fitted kitchen, corner sofa which coverts to a large double bed. Air conditioning, SAT TV. One large luxury bathroom with corner bath/ shower, toilet and bidet, sink with lit dressing mirror, also separate toilet cloakroom. The whole apartment has dimmer switch lighting for a lovely ambiance in the evenings. Parking for two cars right outside the apartment entrance. (Everything is brand new in this apartment for the season 2007). All apartments within Villa Jade have access to our laundry room where we have an ironing board and proffesional steam iron facility, additionally a laundry service is available on request if required.

Korcula is the greenest and one of the most beautiful and most interesting of Croatia's 1000 or so Adriatic islands and was said to be a favourite Greek holiday spot over 2000 years ago and the birth place of the great traveller Marco Polo. Korcula old town is described as a mini fortress, a walled city enclosed within honey colored stone walls that contained a labyrinth of quaint cobbled streets with many architectural delights, art-galleries, lots of lovely shops, restaurants and bars. All this is just a 10min scenic walk along the coast from villa Jade. Various day trips are available by boat to the beautiful ancient walled city of Dubrovnik and the lovely islands of Hvar, Mljet and Lastovo. Things to do include: local boat hire (licence required), scuba diving + local scuba school, wind surfing, fishing and bicycle hire.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Please note conditions to booking: A deposit of 30% is required at time of booking, on receipt a written confirmation will be sent out. The balance due to be paid at least 6 weeks before your holiday. Please also include an additional security deposit of £150 per apartment to cover breakages, missing items etc. On leaving the apartments in good order the deposit will be refunded by cheque not later than 7 days from the date of your return home. Payments accepted, Cash, cheque or bank transfer. Where a booking is cancelled more than 45 days prior to arrival the cancellation fee is 50% of deposit. For bookings cancelled within 45 days of arrival the cancellation fee is 100% of deposit.

There is a large double sofa bed within the lounge/diner sleeping 2 persons quite comfortably allowing the apartment to sleep up to 6 persons.

An excellent property both in terms of location & accomodation provided, finished to a high standard and very well maintained
Local contact very helpful
Mini super-market 5 minutes walk away and good choice of restaurants in Korcula Town 15 to 20 minutes away (You have to be pretty athletic to walk it in the claimed 10 minutes!)
View from the flat was stunning and proximity to sea was a real bonus for the keenswimmers
Will almost certainly return and would recommend to others
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Families with Young Children, Sightseeing, Age 55+
