Pissouri Villa 2009 Easter
Review Submitted: May 8, 2009

We recently stayed in this fantastic located Villa. We were 2 OAP, 2 Mid Lifers and 2 pre teen kids. Easter is the beginning of Cyprus holiday season, so it was quite quiet.
Only 25 minutes from the airport by motorway, Pissouri Bay is well sign posted. You will need a car for venturing out of Pissouri Bay as the village is on top of a hill. There are local taxis, numbers on the board in the kitchen, as are loads of restaurant names etc.
When we arrived the villa was well equipt with books, maps and information leaflets which made it easy to decide where to visit whilst we were there.
The Villa is very homely and has every thing you could possibly need for a week or two away. They have a lovely garden with herbs and fruit trees, bbq area and a fab pool, which is well maintained. The views from the windows are great too. The rooms are all of good size and clean. Plugs sockets are like UK ones. There are 2 hair driers, Iron board, WIFI if you need it too. Lots of board games to play too.
We visited a couple of restaurants on the Bay , Liminakis (fusion food)and The Vine Leaf(more of a locals place), both of which were very nice. In the village we tried The Bunch of Grapes again lots of food and very nice welcome.
On the bay we hired kayaks and a hoby cat, great fun, helpful owner, they are found next to the Columbia Beach Hotel.
Unfortunately there is not really many fish left in the Med, so a bit of a fishermans nightmare if you want to go off the rocks. We did see fishing trips available when we went to Limassol.
The great thing about Pissouri that it is easy to get to the Mountains, Limassol and Paphos and beyond, if you have the time.
The archeology is fantastic in Cyprus, do it all if you can!!
All in all we had a lovely, relaxing stay and would certainly recommend this lovely Villa to friends.
The owners and their property managers were very helpful and made our stay memorable Thank you!!
