This luxury apartment is situated on the first floor of the newly developed Universal Gardens complex (sleeping up to 4 people) and is fully air conditioned throughout. The apartment is tastefully furnished and consists of a large living/dining area with dining table and chairs, 2 leather sofas, Sky TV, Stereo, DVD, plus ceiling fan. Leading onto a spacious balcony with table, chairs, barbecue and overlooking the Troodos Mountains. The fitted kitchen is equipped with washing machine, large fridge freezer, microwave, hob/oven plus all mod cons. There are two spacious bedrooms with double and twin beds (TV in twin) including fitted wardrobes, AC, mirror and dressing tables leading onto a small balcony. Bathroom with bath, shower and WC. There is also a roof terrace to relax in total privacy with breathtaking panoramic views. Allocated covered parking is provided on the ground floor. The complex, consisting of just 6 properties, has a swimming pool and poolside WC/Shower.

This beautiful southwest corner of Cyprus has an air of elegance all of its own with soft breezes and enchanting antiquity. This is the kingdom of Aphrodite, the goddess of love. Paphos is steeped in history and stunning scenery together with the warmth and friendliness of the local people it will draw you back year after year. Paphos has something for everyone from its beautiful harbour with mediaeval fort, third century mosaics, charming tavernas, where you can enjoy many of the local delicacies as you watch the fishermen prepare their boats for another fishing trip. You can also enjoy a stroll around the quaint traditional markets situated in the old town (ktima) 2km away. Kato (downtown) paphos, which used to be a sleepy fishing village is now becoming an expanding cosmopolitan resort; it has a lot to offer, with plenty of bars, pubs, and a few nightclubs and innumerable eating places to suit everyone’s palate.

Our stay in Kato, Paphos 2007

We stayed at this apartment for a week in October 2007 and had such a fantastic time that we are going back again in September 2008. The apartment is in a nice, quiet area and is furnished to a high standard. It is in immaculate condition but also very homely. The pool area had a shower and toilet and was cleaned daily. The apartment is a 10 - 15 minute stroll away from the centre where all the shops, restaurants and bars are and perhaps a further 5 minutes to the promenade. However, there are a couple of restaurants near to the apartment if you didn't want to go to the town centre. There are some fantastic fish and steak restaurants in the town. For those with children (or even without) there is a water park which is on a regular bus route. We didn't hire a car last time but are thinking of doing so this time and exploring further. Would really recommend this apartment to anyone. You will have a fabulous stay.

Very Good Holiday Base

The apartment was nice and clean with good facilities including an excellent Air con system in the living room and bedrooms. The Satellite TV in the living room included all the main 5 channels and a few children channels. The pool was a decent size and was generally unused by the other occupants so we had almost exclusive use of it for the holiday.

There is a local restaurant and shop within 2 minutes from the apartment and they provided good food and some basic food items and newspapers

We hired a car for the whole duration of the holiday so we were able to explore a lot more of the country. The best local beach was Coral Bay so a car would be necessary to get there.

We would recommend the airport transfer to and from the airport as you would have trouble finding the apartment without it.

There is a local water park and mini golf course that is floodlit at night. There are some nice restaurants on the sea front with plenty of parking space to park your car.

We were also able to pick up a local Wifi connection from the apartment and it only cost 15 Euros for 1 week ( Leap Wifi )

We would highly recommend this apartment as it provides a very good base to explore the island.

The apartment was very good and spacious, with excellent facilities.
Would definitely advise taking advantage of the taxi transfer on arrival, as Deborah who is the contact on the island and also extremely nice, can also give you a brief intro and explanation of the apartment and surrounding areas at the same time.
It is around 15-20 mins walk to the beach and also the main bars and restaurants, of which there are a huge choice, but there is also a very popular bar and restaurant just a couple of minutes from the apartment and we found the food here to be excellent.
Just a few metres down from the bar is a small supermarket, where you can buy all your daily essentials and this is open until late.
We found the roof top terrace to be nice and quiet, with ample privacy and although it was a little cold to use the pool, the area was lovely and clean.
As mentioned, the location of the apartment is a small walk into the centre of Paphos, though this does mean that the area is nice and quiet.
Although we did not hire a car, there are ample car hire places around and a lot of places for sightseeing nearby, if this is your preference.
Overall we had an excellent relaxing holiday and would definitely consider going back.

We went to the apartment with 2 friends and were pleasantly suprised with the standard of the furnishing and the size of the apartment. We took advantage of the transfer to and from the airport with Debbie who also is the contact in Paphos, she was very friendly, this was booked through Karl. The apartment is convenient for the centre of Paphos, it was a 10 - 15 min walk, although we did hire a car which we picked up in town. The municipal beach is just 5 mins drive away with sunbeds and umbrella's for hire. We prefer to eat out at lunchtime and can recommend Varda's which is found on the main road from Paphos to Coral Bay, you can stay all day as they provide sunbeds on the beach for their customers. Literally 2 mins from the apartment is a bar/restaurant called Pambi's which was very popular. As we cooked in the apartment most nights we were very pleased with the fully equipped kitchen, and the supermarkets nearby are fantastic. All in all we had a brilliant holiday, the weather was much better than we expected and we have already booked to go again next April, can recommend anyone to go.

Great apartment

The accommodation itself is excellent, very spacious, comfortable and equipped with everything you need. It's a quiet location and you don't get disturbed by noise from any local bars etc as there aren't any nearby. The pool is safe for kids and also very quiet however if you are taking kids there are not many other families about at the pool. The closest shop is pretty basic and does not sell fruit and salad however there is another 2 shops with a 10 minute walk that are much better. Decent restaurants are a car journey away. Overall we loved the holiday and would readily recommend it.
