This luxury air-conditioned apartment is situated on the first floor of a recently completed and extensively landscaped complex with children's pool and three swimming pools, one being an outstanding 60m split-level communal pool with a central waterfall and Jacuzzis at both ends. Sun loungers, parasols, poolside showers and changing rooms/toilets are also available for the sole use of residents. The apartment is entered via a marble lobby area with lift and phone entry system and offers comfortable accommodation for up to six people and is furnished to a very high standard and includes a flat screen satellite TV, DVD player and CD/radio. Iris Village is located in the quiet, popular Universal Gardens district of Kato Paphos and is central to all amenities and places of interest, being only a 10 minute walk from restaurants and bars and a 15 minute walk from blue flag beaches providing a selection of watersports and the picturesque harbour lined with open air cafes and tavernas.

Paphos, once the capital of Cyprus, stands on a hilltop overlooking the coastal plain below, where the picturesque harbour is the focal point of a thriving holiday resort. The harbour, situated in Kato Paphos, is guarded by a small moated 16th century fortress and is lined with open air tavernas and cafes serving fresh fish mezes and a variety of local dishes. Open air concerts are held here regularly, the highlight being a three day opera event in September. Lively bars and clubs are centred around Nightlife Street, a 10 minute walk from the harbour. The upper town of Paphos (Old Paphos) is only a 10 minute walk from the apartment and has numerous shops and a daily market. Ancient Roman and Greek sites are plentiful around Paphos including the Tombs of the Kings, dating from the 4th century BC, ancient mosaics and churches. Water sports including paragliding, windsurfing, and jet skis are available on most beaches and there is also a diving school which offers tuition for beginners.

The kitchen also has a kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board. Children's cot, highchair, car seats and a food welcome pack are available for a small additional cost. Please advise when booking. Golfing Facilities: Three international standard golf courses are within easy reach of Paphos (approx. 30 mins drive) Aphrodite Hills - a par 71 course (18km). A golf, leisure and real estate development situated on two plateaux 300m high overlooking the Mediterranean sea and the legendary Aphrodites Rock. Tsada - a par 72 course (15km). In the foothills of the Troodos Mountains set in the grounds of a 12th century monastery. Secret Valley - a par 72 course (18km) in a scenic valley with grand trees and beautiful rock formations all around.

The Paphos District: Paphos, a World Heritage site, is situated in the western peninsular of the island of Cyprus. This all year resort boasts an average 340 days of sunshine a year and virtually zero rainfall from April to November making it an ideal destination for summer and winter holidays. The Cypriots are friendly and welcoming. English is widely spoken and cars are driven on the left as in the UK. There are daily jeep safaris to the Akamas National Park to see 'turtle beach' where the protected Greenback Turtles lay their eggs, the Akamas Gorges, Adonis Falls and the Sea Caves (30 min. drive). The Troodos Mountains (90 min. drive) offers the holidaymaker a complete contrast to the beaches with unspoilt picturesque villages, cool pine forests and waterfalls. Activities include hiking, nature trails, mountain biking and skiing during the winter months.
