The apartment is positioned on the edge of the Peyia Paradise complex (only 50 apartments), completed in 2005, Large communal pool measuring 18m in length with sunbathing area. Less than 10 miles to the west of Paphos and under 2 miles from the beach at Coral Bay, the apartment is located in a quiet position on a small complex in Peyia. A good selection of shops, bars and tavernas can be found less than 1400 metres from the apartment. In nearby Coral Bay there's an even greater selection of shops, bars and restaurants. The island of Cyprus is the third largest island in the Mediterranean Sea with a population of less than 1,000,000. Its 9,251 square kilometres encompass citrus and olive groves, pine forested mountains, and some of Europe's cleanest beaches. Also, it is the easternmost island in the Mediterranean Sea. Cyprus is located 65 miiles west of Syria, 45 miles south of Turkey and 200 miles north of Egypt. The island has a mild, typically Mediterranean climate, with abundant sunshine even in winter (well over 300 days per year) and very little rainfall. In early Spring it is possible to ski on Mount Olympus and then swim in the sea later the same day.

Additional information about rental rates

  • If your holiday period covers two different rental rates, then pro-rata rates will be applied (i.e. divide each weekly rate by 7 then multiply by the no of nights in each rental rate period. A £100.00 deposit is required upon booking with the balance to be paid 8 weeks before departure. Any bookings made within 8 weeks of chosen departure date must be paid in full. Please e-mail to request booking form & booking conditions. Extra persons (i.e. 5th person or 5th and 6th person) are £25 per person per week to cover cost of laundry, cleaning and utilities. Linen & towels are changed once per week. (NB: There is a plumbed in washing machine in the apartment along with airing and ironing facilities).
  • If a travel cot and / or high chair is required please let us know when you make your enquiry and we will arrange for these to be in the apartment for your arrival. You will need to bring cot linen with you and make use of the washing machine. There is an additional charge for cot hire and / or high chair (£15.00 per week each). The apartment is non-smoking. We kindly request smokers to refrain from smoking in the apartment. Smoking on the balcony is fine.
  • There is no additional charge for air-conditioning.

AIR CONDITIONING: The apartment is fully air-conditioned, controlled by easy-to-use remote control hand units. There is NO additional charge for the use of the air-conditioning. There are also ceiling fans in all rooms. There is also heating (should it be required) during the 'winter'.

TOWELS: Bath towels and hand towels are provided and are changed once per week. You will need only to provide beach towels.

Peyia Paradise Apartments: Peyia Paradise Apartments were completed in Jul 2005. We have owned the property from new. The two bedroom apartment has a large sun terrace. There is an 18m long communal pool (depth from 0.5m to 1.5m). The apartment has its own dedicated parking space. An extremely quiet development with uninterrupted views across to the Coral Bay coastline. The beach at Coral Bay is just a 30-35 minute stroll away. The tavernas and shops in Peyia village are also just a 30-35 minute walk from the apartment. The apartment is well placed to visit the Acamus Peninsula and the Troodos Mountains. Additional fresh towels and bed linen are supplied weekly. We would recommend car hire however it is possible to get a taxi from the airport to the apartment.

Golf: There are three quality golf courses within a one-hour drive from the apartment. Aphrodite Hills, east of Paphos, Secret Valley 12 miles further east of Paphos and Tsada which is approx 10 miles away and is the closest of the three golf courses to the apartment. All are 18 holes in length and set amidst stunning scenery.

A home from home

We stayed in this apartment in August/September 2008 and it had everything we needed. It was very well equipped and the large terrace with the sunbeds was an added bonus. The complex and swimming pool was ideal for the whole family and the grandchildren loved it. The village of Peyia is a 20 minute walk away and has a couple of supermarkets and some excellent restaurants. We would have returned this year but the apartment was already booked for most of the summer.
A car is recommended for exploring the area and going to the beach at Coral Bay.

A lovely apartment with a fantastic large balcony which is excellent for dinning on.
Beautiful pool which our son spent many hours in whilst we enjoyed the sun loungers.
We would recommend a car as the village is right at the top of the hill. The car also allows you to explore Cyprus to the full. We used one of the car hire companies suggested by Nigel and they were excellent.
The apartment lived up fully to all of our expectations - we would certainly use the apartment again.
The instructions we received from the owners prior to our holiday were excellent.

A VERY NICE APARTMENT

This was not actually a holiday for us as we live in Cyprus, but we live in Larnaca which was too far for us to travel each day to an event we attended in Peyia over 2 days.

Some friends found us this apartment, which is very clean and just as described on the information section.

However as this was not a hoiday for us, we cannot say that much about its value as a hoiday destination except to say that you must have a car if you want to get anywhere.

There is no shop on the actual site, so you would need to bring your provisions in from the village, which would take a healthy person abot 20 minutes to walk. There are very good take aways in the village and one we like is Fitos.

Its a good place to stay, but be prepared to travel to get to anywhere of any interest, unless you are the type who just sits by the pool all day.

The view into the surrounding hills is really good and when we stayed there, it was very peacefull. We stayed in April which was out of season and we were out all day.

So we have rated it good for what we wanted it for, but you will have to decide if it is for you.
