3 bed Paphos Villa, Kato Paphos peaceful location, SKY, WiFi, Paradise Gardens 4

We enjoyed a wonderful break at Adams Villa, very spacious, comfortable, close to the beach, restaurants and tavernas etc. Adams housekeeper was very helpful and gave us lots of information about the villa and the surrounding area. We would most definitely return for another holiday to this location.

We arrived at the villa in our rental car which we picked up in Larnaca, thanks to Adams written directions we drove straight to the door.

Our first impressions of the villa was that it was very spacious for a family of four and that everything was as described on holydays-rentals so instead of listing the commodities of the villa I will urge you to just read the description as it is pretty accurate.

One feature of the villa we soon learned to appriciate though was that it is the last villa on the row, that means that you have complete privacy on the large patio - all the other villas have a certain amount of traffic right past their patios of people walking to and from the pool.

Even though its true that you dont really need a car, we were glad we had rented one partly we used it to just drive around and see the island and for driving to a supermarket. You can indeed walk to the local beach, but the best beach around Paphos i Coral beach which is about 15 km north of the town so unless you want to rely on busses a car is really handy.

The local diner Pambis Diner is a rather cosy place, and the food is good. The restaurants at the harbour are in our experience the priciest ones (not surprising) but not nececarily the best. You can however find some good restaurants in the old part of Paphos both if you want a steak or some more traditional cypriotic food.

If you are travelling with children Aphrodites waterpark is a must, but We would also recommend the gokarts right behind the waterpark (there is also a gokart place at the entrance to the waterpark, it does seem a bit shabby compared to the other one though).

The owner of the villa Adam was very helpfull during our stay, and did everything he could to solve the one problem we encountered - the internet was not working. However just as it seemed as it was going to work 92 ammonition containers blew up and took half the powergrid of Cyprus with them so no internet...

All in all we would absolutely recommend the villa, and should we ever go to Cyprus again we would definetely stay in the villa again if Adam will rent it to us.

This was our second stay at adam's villa and we've all enjoyed it again, the work done at the back of the villa has made it more peaceful and secluded. The showers too, are much improved from last time - good water pressure. The convenience of the washing machine and dishwasher make life easier, as does the large fridge/freezer and the children like the TV. The internet connection was particularly useful this time around - beware of volcanic ash clouds! ;-)

The volcanic ash problems extended our stay in Cyprus and we were fortunate to be able to remain in Adam's villa - a definite bonus. It's worth mentioning that Adam was very helpful and understanding during what was a quite stressful time.

The harbour and nightlife isn't too far away and there are plenty of good places to eat - Nostalgia remains my favourite, a warm welcome and great food. Tea for Two offer tasty food too, with a more British slant to the menu. Pambi's diner is the closest place to the villa to eat and is good for a snack and a friendly welcome.

For the more adventurous, hiring a car is a great way to see the island, Coral Bay and Polis to the north. It's a short drive to the motorway which leads to the east of the island, Limassol, Nicosia and the Troodos mountains. Driving can be eratic, so take care!

Should you be unfortunate enough to become ill, I can recommend St.James Medical Centre, Tombs of the Kings Road, where I was well looked after. The doctors and nurses speak good English, too.
