' Location, accommodation, facilities - can honestly say it's the best we've had on Cyprus' (Guest book). A lovely end-of-block 2 bedroom town house located in a small modern complex with a communal swimming pool in the heart of Peyia village. It is away from traffic and located at 1st & 2nd floor levels creating privacy & wonderful panoramic sea & mountain views. Both the large lounge/dining room and the master bedrooms have patio doors leading to covered balconies. The bedrooms and lounge have air-conditioning. There is undercover parking for 2 vehicles and useful sun shelter on the edge of the private paved garden. This overlooks the pool and is an ideal spot for keeping an eye on the children. Inside, there is satellite TV (UK FreeSat channels) radio, DVD and CD players, and an assortment of books and games. There is baby equipment available and baby sitting can be arranged. The garden & balconies have tables & chairs, sun loungers, a barbecue & an assortment of plants & shrubs

Peyia is a small, traditional hillside village overlooking Coral Bay and the Paphos coastline. It has excellent restaurants and tavernas, and an ancient Church. There are locally owned supermarkets, bakery & delicatessen, butchers, hairdresser and banks. All your day-to-day needs can be met within a few minutes walk. Coral Bay is a few minutes drive away. It has a beautiful sandy ‘blue flag’ sheltered beach, water sports, restaurants and shops. Paphos town centre, harbour (boat trips, scuba diving) tourist area, world heritage site and water park can be reached within 15 minutes. There are very regular bus services from the village and plenty of taxis. The location is an ideal base for exploring the Akamas nature reserve (with turtle breeding beach) and the quiet beaches on the north west of the island. The Troodos mountain range with its wonderful scenery and traditional villages is approximately 1 1/2 hours drive. Go-karting and horse riding are available nearby.

Notes to the rental rates

If you wish to stay for a part week, please divide the weekly rate by 7 for the appropriate daily rate. Availability permitting, we will be happy to make arrangements for whichever period of time best meets your needs. These rates include use of air-conditioning, a small welcome pack and provision of equipment for one baby/small child. There is an additional charge of £10.00 per person for the provision of laundry and towels (please bring your own beach towels).

Booking reservations can be held for five days only to allow travel arrangements to be made. A non-refundable deposit of 20% or £100 (whichever is greater) is required for each booking on confirmation of reservation. The full remaining rental balance is then due 10 WEEKS before departure. Please telephone for payment arrangements. A refundable deposit of UK £100 is required also at the time the balance is due, to cover any damage/breakage during the rental period and this will be returned on receipt of the keys. If the booking is made within 10 weeks of departure then the full balance is payable when booking.

We recommend hiring a car for the duration of your stay. This can be arranged through us at very competitive rates, with delivery and collection at the airport (Pafos or Larnaca). We can also arrange airport transfers from Paphos or Larnaca airports to the house. We do understand that not all visitors will want to hire a car on their holiday. This is not a problem, as most facilities are available in Peyia village, within a few minutes walk of the house. There are taxis and a bus service to Coral Bay and Paphos.

| Notes: | The house is located next to, and overlooks, the communal swimming pool. However the garden is still private and not overlooked by the pool or the rest of the complex. 4 chairs and a small table are provided for use on the 2 balconies. 6 chairs and a large table & parasol are provided for use in the garden. There are also sun loungers and a barbecue. At ground level the house has a spacious storage room. This is used to store garden furniture when the house is empty. It is very handy for storing beach items and keeping the house clutter-free during your stay. The storage room leads off the undercover area. |
Phone and Internet
There is a Cypriot pay-as-you-go mobile phone provided at the house. This will enable you to make inexpensive calls both within Cyprus and abroad. All we ask is that you top up the phone with credit before you leave. There are directions to the local Internet cafe provided at the house.
Other Guest Services
A number of the permanent residents of Peyia Cottages offer a range of other services. These include baby sitting, familiarisation trips around the Paphos area, informal taxi services etc. Their contact details are available at the house. There is also a list of local taxi numbers. If preferred we can acept payment by transfer in Euros into a Cyprus bank account.
Other Activities go karting, water park, many archaeological sites and the Akamas Nature reserve within easy reach

1) Location, accommodation, facilities - can honestly say is the best we have had on Cyprus. 2) We liked everything about our stay - the house had everything we needed - the location was perfect and the village had all you could ask for. 3)Your house and the location of it are perfect - children happy - parents happy! What more could you ask for. Peya has all you could ask for and more - everybody friendly and welcoming. Trevor and Molly have been perfect hosts and we have all enjoyed our stay and holiday. WE WILL BE BACK! 4) The house was better than expected and was the making of our holiday as we had plenty of space 5) Now at end of holiday. Great villa. Locals including owners very friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and no question we will be back. 6) The place where you live is lovely. The weather was hot, the people are nice and we really enjoyed ourselves. We will recommend you to our friends.
