Villa Coral Breeze

An exceptional villa, very clean, well maintained and beautifully cool inside with air con . Our teenage daughter took a friend with her. When they were not in the pool, they were either lounging beside it on the pool furniture or on the beach, which really is a five minute walk across the road. We did not hire a car initially but if you want to go any further than the Coral Bay resort (which is within walking distance), you may find you need one. The bus service into Paphos is frequent and inexpensive. The Tomb of the Kings is worth a visit and the mosaics in Paphos are outstanding. There are lots of restaurants in Coral Bay and we found that it was often cheaper to eat there, because the local `supermarket` is overpriced, with poor selection of goods, the fruit and veg were poor quality and the staff were unfriendly, A real no smile zone. If you enjoy water parks a visit to to the Athena Water Park in Paphos is a must. A great day out for all ages. You can catch the bus from Coral Bay and get your bus fare refunded on admission. Our only reservation regarding the villa, was the amount of building work still going on at the end of the road. We first thought that the resort was an ongoing building site, however, you soon realise that villa/appartment construction is occuring all over the island. My husband said it reminded him of Spain about 30yrs ago. On the whole though, we had a great time. Ignoring the construction, the weather was glorious (we went in October), the restaurants well worth a visit, the beaches lovely and the villa was wonderful to return to at the end of an exhausting day. There is also an impressive range of games, books and DVDs to while away a lazy evening. Well worth a visit. The few queries we did have were dealt with quickly by the very friendly property representatives, a phone call away.
