The location is just 1.5km from the heart of Coral Bay Village and less than a 5 minute drive.

The villa is located overlooking Coral Bay and approximately 1.5 km from the center of the village and 10km from Paphos Town Center. Guests will find an abundance of restaurants, tavernas, bars, cafes, and supermarkets at both destinations. Paphos is can be accessed from the villa by car and the the journey takes about 10 minutes.

General Booking Information: Our preferred changeover day is Wednesday. This has been forced upon us by the airline companies which run the bulk of their flights from the UK into Paphos on a Wednesday to Wednesday basis. If you would like to provisionally reserve a villa pending your search for suitable flights we would be happy to take your chosen villa off the market for you for a period of 3 days. To secure a villa booking we ask for a down payment of 25% and the balance 4 weeks prior to arrival. Payment can be made to us via either a cheque drawn on a UK bank or by direct bank transfer. We would be happy to provide you with airport transfers or a quote for car hire.

Why Choose This Villa ?: The villa will appeal to those who enjoy traditionally designed private villas and complete privacy whilst being located within a very short drive of a wide variety of restaurants, tavernas, bars, cafes, and the sandy beach of Coral Bay.

Car Hire & Airport Transfers: Upon your arrival, if you would like a taxi to collect you at the airport we will send a trustworthy local taxi driver to collect you and he will have the keys to the villa for you. The cost for a taxi ride from Paphos Airport to the villa takes about 25 minutes and the cost is CYP 25.00. Alternatively, if you hire a car for your holiday, I can recommend a close friend who will give you a good deal on car hire. He can also meet you at the airport and drive you to the villa at no extra cost if it is from Paphos Airport. If you mention to him that you have booked your villa through Chris he will give you the best deal possible.

Very disappointed

A disappointing first impression with an untidy and unkept garden, disused old chairs and parasol stored by the side of the villa and the pool tiles around the water line looking in need of a good clean.

The claim of "private pool and complete privacy" in the write up certainly did not meet my idea of complete privacy, as the pool area could be viewed from most of the adjacent properties.

Internally, our attempt to boil a kettle was thwarted as it had a 2 pin safety plug and the villa had 13A socket outlets. This also applied to the iron and a free standing fan. A text asking for a 13A kettle failed to get a response.

Cleanliness, in general, was average but the kitchen sink unit and main bathroom were poor with a cracked toilet seat and deep dirt in the floor corners.

Despite the air conditioning in the main bedroom being repaired whilst we were there, it wasn't as effective as the unit in the twin bedroom and failed to drop the temperature to any noticeable degree. The lounge area would also benefit from an air conditioning unit.

The area is very quiet and a car is essential. There are plenty of eating places locally and in Kato Paphos. The local dishes were very tasty and reasonably priced, but some drinks could be expensive. Plenty of bars showing the top sporting events.

Correspondence and pictures e mailed to the owner since our return have failed to get even an acknowledgement.

Potentially, this villa could be good with some time, effort and money spent on it. However, compared to villas I have rented recently in Spain, Portugal and the USA, it leaves a lot to be desired. Not somewhere I would return to or recommend to a friend or relative.

A delightful villa

My family and I (2 children 6 and 10 years) had a splendid time here. The pool and villa were of a good standard and when we had a small problem it was sorted within 30 mins, excellent service. The surrounding small towns are delightful with a good variety of foods. A car is essential. I would recommend the villa to families and would definitely return.

great villa, but!

the villa was immaculate, pool great, but it 2.5km from the beach and town, and uphill so get a car for sure, the pool was cleaned twice in the week we was there which was good, but i will say that coral bay in general is an expensive place and the locals are unhelpful and only out to get a few extra euros out of you, the taxi drivers espescially seemed to have graduated from the dick turpin school of economics, shop in kato paphos and peya.

Me and my girlfriend stayed in this villa for a week at the end of March 2008. I have to say all the villas in the cul-de-sac were beautiful, it was a really homely area to stay. I would definitely stay there again. The people were nice, we had a slight problem while we were out there, sent them a text and there were round the following day - really can’t complain. I would recommend a car if you go, it’s a bit of a walk to the shops!
