Iris 25 & 26: Two adjacent modern cottage type villas, set around a large swimming pool and gardens on a small and friendly compound, located in one of the most popular areas of Kato Paphos. The villas are available for rental singly or together. Comfortably sleeps up to 4 people in one villa and up to 6 in the other (2 bedrooms in each villa). Both are ideal for relaxed family self-catering holidays and living in the Mediterranean style.

A two bedroom well furnished cottage type villa. Accommodation is in two bedrooms: A master bedroom with a king size bed, opening onto a balcony overlooking the pool; and a second bedroom with two large single beds. Built in wardrobes in both bedrooms. Mini-safe in the master bedroom. There is a shower room/WC at first floor equipped with a pressurised shower, and a guest WC on the ground floor. The ground floor is open plan with an exceptionally well equipped kitchen / dining room / lounge, opening onto a private terrace and garden, leading to the communal garden and pool area. Radio, CD player, DVD, VHS video & television are provided. All rooms have air-conditioning, which can also be used for heating in the winter months. The terrace has garden furniture and a gas BBQ. Sunloungers and umbrellas are provided around the pool area. There is ample car parking in front of the villas. At the front of the villa is a herb garden and fruit trees at the rear, help yourself.

Iris Cottages is within a comfortable walk of the shops and tavernas of Kato Paphos village centre. There is a close-by 'open all hours' corner shop and the nearest taverna is within a few minutes walk. The nearest beaches are about 20 minutes walk, although the better beaches are a short drive or bus-ride away. Both villas are very well furnished and equipped. Iris Cottages is 15 minutes drive from Paphos Airport and about one and a half hours from Larnaca Airport on a good motorway.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Prices are for each villa per week (minimum rental 1 week), inclusive of electricity up to 200kws per week.
    We ask for a £200 refundable security deposit for any damages. This may be increased for certain types of bookings.
    A deposit of 25% of the full rental, required at time of booking is non refundable. Balance is payable 8 weeks prior to let. Reservations made within 8 weeks of the let require full payment at time of booking.
    Lettings are from 4pm on the first day to 12 noon on the last day, or otherwise by prior written agreement.
    You and your guests must agree not to smoke inside the villa.
    When you contact us we send you a booking form to return and we hold the chalet provisionally for you for 10 days to allow time for your deposit to reach us. After this time the chalet will be re-offered.
  • The two villas are available for rental either separately or together. Change-over day is Wednesday, other days may be possible depending on bookings, especially in low season. Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels. For longer term lets over the winter period please contact me.

We found your villa to be quite beautiful. The whole of that complex is a wonderful oasis. The people we met were all very friendly.

Quiet Oasis

Just returned from a lovely week at Iris Cottages. Both villas are exactly as described, both were clean and facilities were great. pool area was like a little oasis and quiet almost every day, enabling us to relax even with our infant with us. But, considering we were there the first week in August, it was not as busy as we were expecting. The villas are in a quiet area but are only a ten minute walk to bar street and all the bars and restaurants and only a fifteen min walk to the harbour which was beautiful. ideally located.
The only problem we had was with the Air Con which failed and was reported. I was told there would be someone round that day to fix but no-one showed and so had a few warm days/nights !!
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Iris Cottages and would definitely recommend to anyone else thinking of stying in Paphos.
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Families with Young Children

Ideal Place for Relaxation

This was the first time we had chosen self catering in Paphos rather than the hotels on the sea front. The villa is only 10 minutes walk from the tourist area and 15 minutes from the harbour. Excellent facilities. Very few of the other villas were occupied so it was very quiet.

We did notice that the prices in the restaurants were a lot more expensive that in years gone by. Sign of the times I am afraid.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Families with Young Children
Owner's Response: I have to agree with Terry; Restaurants in-town are no longer cheap, still some good value to be had in the surrounding villages though. and the BBQ on the terrace is unbeatable.
