A stay at our luxury detached private villa in Peyia,Paphos is highly recommended for a holiday that you will remember forever. Some villas claim to have nice views, but this one is arguably the best in the whole area, absolutely breathtaking! Our villa is well equipped for all the family and comfortably sleeps six. The pool is 8x4 metre infinity type, and is set in a large terrace with BBQ, with a lower separate terrace below. It has a lovely thatched cabana for some welcome shade during long hot summer days. There are sun loungers, outdoor dining table and an outdoor shower. The garden is very large and fully landscaped with palm trees, bushes and flowering shrubs. The villa is totally private with its own drive and ample parking You can watch the sunrise over the mountains and set over the sea, as there is nothing but the blue sky to block the view. Its located in a peaceful area and is not overlooked by any other properties. Full central heating for those out of season holidays

Car: necessary
We recommend car hire to fully enjoy the area. The beach at Coral Bay is only 10 minutes by car, for safe sandy bathing and water sports. Coral Bay has nightlife with shops, bars and restaurants until the early hours. Peyia village is only 5 minutes away for supermarkets, banks, pharmacy, bakers, takeaways and restaurants for all your immediate needs. Paphos Town and Port is approx 20 minutes away. The Akamas Peninsular for hiking, walking, mountain biking, wildlife and nature is approx 15 minutes away. The Troodos mountains for real scenery and skiing is one hour away. There is history and archaeology in Paphos and near Limassol, along with access to golf courses. Paphos airport is approx 30 mins drive to our villa, Larnaca is around 2 hours.

A Perfect Hideaway

We recently stayed at this villa for two weeks and had one of the most relaxing holidays we have ever had. Being your usual Five Star luxury travellers who like to be waited on hand and foot we approached this holiday with some trepidation. On arrival any of our fears were very quickly forgotten. The property boasts one of the most fabulous views in the area and I would argue with anyone who would dispute that. The owner has gone to a great deal of trouble to make it a home from home with all the necessities and although the interior is starting to look a little tired we did find ourselves very comfortable and felt very at home. Our only criticism would be that it would be an improvement if the villa was at least cleaned once during your stay and a change of bed linen would to be honest of suited us better, there are laundry facilities which is ok for freshening up towels but not our idea of a holiday to strip the bed and wash sheets, we didn't expect a daily change of linen but once or twice during a two week stay would have been more acceptable.
We had a problem with the pool but have to say that a phone call to the owner back in the UK and matters were dealt with very quickly.
All in all I would recommend this property to anyone seeking a holiday to get away from everyone and anyone it was completely private and other than the forementioned left us wanting for nothing throughout our stay other than to return some day very soon.

The Villa Marcos was fantastic, fully equipped, totally private, nicely done, outstanding! The views were beautiful. My two children loved the pool, little chilly but still really enjoyed it. An away from it all villa but easy access to all places especially beautiful places like Latchi, with their lovely harbour and fish restaurants. The pool received all day sunshine and the cabana was a really nice touch, although the wind at night made it a bit chilly on some occasions. Overall Brilliant, highly recommended.

Fabulous Villa, Amazing Views!

Have just returned from our holiday at the fantastic Villa Marcos. Enjoyed a wonderful time there - our 2 small children adored the pool, we loved the location, the views and the warm breeze (really welcome on those hot days!) The thatched eating area provided the perfect shade & the villa was beautifully maintained and equipped with everything you need to have a great holiday. Well placed to visit Polis & Latchi which are great places to rent boats and find beautiful coves for snorkeling & swimming. Plenty of good restaurants in Peyia & Coral Bay (5 mins) and a supermarket in Peyia which has literally everything you need for your holiday. A really fabulous villa - you won't be dissappointed.

This was our second visit to Villa Marcos, which is a lovely and very well-equipped villa in a peaceful rural hillside setting with fantastic panoramic views. There are also fly/mosquito screens at all windows and air-conditioning in the bedrooms - both essential in the very hot summer months.
Being high up and quite exposed, it can be very windy by the pool - but this could be an advantage in the hottest weather. (Only one minor criticism - the extensive exterior patio area does need a bit of a sweep up and hose-down to remove accumulated dust and debris, blown in by the wind.)
A car is essential - it's a 5 minute drive to the nearest supermarket/shops/bars/restaurants in the village of Peyia.
This villa would be suitable for people looking for a tranquil holiday, although the busy resort of Coral Bay is less than 10 minutes drive away. It is also close to the Akamas nature reserve and The Bird & Animal Park, both well worth a visit.
We enjoyed the peace and privacy of Villa Marcos and made good use of the gas BBQ (a spotlight on this for cooking in the evening would be a great help!)
Our favourite place for eating out was the pretty Sunset Restaurant next to the bird sanctuary on the road to the Akamas peninsula.
We can highly recommend Villa Marcos - especially in the high season when the unheated infinity pool and cool winds would be particularly appreciated.
