A newly build villa (August, 2005) in Paphos district area, near Polis. A romantic, private beach villa with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Surrounded by lemon trees, mango and avocado trees. Great sea and mountain view. Just 1 minute walk to the nearest beach at Pomos harbour. There you can enjoy fresh fish. The view from the restaurant is breathtaking! The villa has a private 'L' shape swimming pool with roman steps (4x9m), 8 wooden sun beds and 4 umbrellas are also available as well as 8 wooden chairs and 2 wooden tables. There is a big backyard with 8 chairs and 2 tables (under the lemon trees) which is suitable for children to enjoy their play safely. There are 2 double very romantic bedrooms with build beds and long curtains covering them. It has a sea view balcony with 4 wooden chez long chairs where you can relax and enjoy your drinks watching the sunset. In the lounge there is a build fireplace, 3 double and 1 triple sofa, 2 coffee tables (sittings for 12 pers.)

The villa is situated in Paphos district area near Polis in the coast of Pomos village just 100 meters from the sea. Just 1 minute walk from the villa you can find Pomos harbour where you can swim, fish and eat at the restaurant. 1 minute by car you can find the local supermarket and a bank. 10 minutes by car you can rich Polis which is a place of tourist attraction. Latchi harbour is only 15 minutes by car. There you car enjoy fresh fish, swimming, water sports and boat cruises. You can also explore Akamas area and visit the famous Bath of Aphrodite (20 minutes by car). The nearest golf ground is in Tsada (30 min.). Paphos city and Paphos airport are 45 minutes by car. Troodos Mountain is 1.30 hour by car and Larnaka airport is 2 hours by car.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Prices are for 1-8 persons occupancy. The prices include all local taxes and expenses of the villa. Air-condition use is optional and is charged 5.00 EUR per day, per unit. A cot can be provided for an extra person for free. . The Villa will have free wireless connection so you could bring your lab top with you. Maid service is provided once a week and is included in the rental rates. For mid-week maid service there is an extra charge of 30.00 EUR.
  • Booking policy: A non refundable deposit amount 30% of total rent is payable at the time of firm reservation. If the arrival is more than three months from booking time and you will rent the villa for 14 days, instead of the deposit of 30%, you may alternatively pay 10% at the time of reservation and the other amount (20%) to be paid 3 months before your arrival. You can send the deposit by banks transfer (for that we can send you our banks account) or by Credit Card (Master Card or Visa). The balance can be paid the first or the second day of your arrival at the villa by cash or by visa. Preferred by cash. If credit card is used for the payment a 2% administration fee will be added.
  • If the 70% balance amount will be paid 3 months before arrival by banks transfer you have a 5% discount in that amount. If you wish to pay the full amount by banks transfer from the time of reservation we can make you a 5% discount in this full amount.

Notes: There are 6 air-conditioning units covering the whole area of the villa. There is an iron and an ironing board, 4 hair dryers and a local mobile phone with local number (on request). An internet connection can be provided on your request (extra charge). There is a digital satellite, a 28''TV and many DVD movies for your entertainment. You can watch action, romantic, horror films and cartoons. In the kitchen there is also a toaster, a tea and coffee maker a mixer and salt & pepper. There you can find a First Aid Kit and a fire fighting extinguisher. There are 2 smoke detectors covering the two floors of the villa. At the swimming pool area there is an outdoor shower and two life rings. Maintenance and cleaning of the pool every 2-3 days. In the outside area there is a mobile BBQ where you can cook your grilled meat using charcoals. There is a fence around the house so that children can play outside safely. Toilet rolls are also provided.

Bedrooms-Bathrooms: There is one double bedroom downstairs which has en-suite facilities with a shower, a WC and a washbasin. The other double bedroom which is upstairs also has en-suite facilities with a shower, a WC and a washbasin. The other two twin bedrooms have a common bathroom, a WC and a washbasin. The one of the twin bedrooms has a sea view balcony with 4 chez long chairs. Downstairs there is an extra WC and an extra washbasin available.

Mobile Phone : The villa's mobile phone is provided on your request. This phone works with prepaid cards that you can easily find in many shops in Cyprus. The number will be available to you if you ask it at the time of your arrival at the villa.

Directions to the villa: From Paphos airport: Drive from Paphos airport until you reach a T junction and turn left towards Paphos. After about 1 km turn right and drive north, then after about 1 km turn left to use the motorway to Paphos. At the end of the motorway you will find a roundabout. At the roundabout choose the 2nd exit direction to Polis Chrysochous. You will arrive at Polis in 25 minutes. From Polis turn right and drive eastward, then you will find the consecutive villages of Argaka, Ayia Marina, Nea Dhimata and Pomos. Drive for about 3 minutes until you reach Pomos harbour. You follow the sign showing to Pomos harbour and you turn left. There you can find our sign (Votsalo Villa) which will lead you there. Someone will be waiting for you at the villa.

Beautiful Cyprus

We had an excellent stay at Votsalo Villa and our holidays during this period are memorable. The Villa is located at Pomos, a beautiful place combining sea and mountains. The Villa itself has been decorated greatly -reminds of Greek islands' houses -modern, clean and simple. You can stay all day there and not being bored since there are plenty of things to do (jacuzzi, swimming, sunbathing, reading etc). However, if you enjoy sightseeing, you can easily arrange daily visits to Polis, Paphos Down Town, Latsi and have a great time there.
A big thanks to the owners for their kindness and help for everything needed!!! We will be back xxx

The best choice in Cyprus by far...

I have visited Cyprus a lot of times but..... If you ever need a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Cyprus just call this guys. They are amazing. Except from their help, not only with anything regarding the villa but also whatever we needed to know around the area, they also gave us the great opportunity to visit their fantastic villa. We are talking about a great 4 bedroom house with all the amenities you would ever ask (pool, jacuzzi, even the latest movies on DVDs- i can't believe it), 2 minutes walk from the Pomos harbour (visit it for sure), close to Polis- also a great place to visit for amazing food- and not far from Paphos (helloooo Aphrodite was born there). Anyway is better if you see for yourself. Ahh forgot to tell you that... Pomos combines mountain and sea. Visit this villa and is like you have been in all beautiful places in Mediterranean. Thanks again Maria and Doros for your help:)
