POMOS & ARGAKA - Down the most quiet part of Chrysochou Bay The Akamas is worth an excurtion as Turtles are often seen coming from the sea to lay their eggs on the remote bay of Akamas. Chrysochou Bay is a massive sweeping bay of beaches ranging from sand to stone and many rocky coves. you will also find Kanali Fishing Port, where you can discover the coastline by boat or enjoy the catch of the day at the Restaurant.
POLIS - There are many amenities including Chemists, Grocers, Post office, Tourist Information office, Doctors, Dentist, Museum, Gift shops, Shoe & Clothes shops & Bars. There are many Tavernas & Snack shops where children are very welcome. You will also find an 18 hole Golf Course at Tsada approx 20mins from Polis.
LATCHI - The main fishing Harbour on this coast, you will find a variety of Restaurants & shops. Boats can be hired or trips arranged, paragliding & scuba diving are also available.
The Baths of Aphrodite is definitely worth visiting.
PAPHOS - is situated on the South-Western side of Cyprus. The birthplace of Aphrodite-Goddess of Love, is an appealing blend of old & new, offering ancient sites and sun-soaked beaches. It has a slower pace of life with a big measure of authenticity. Sites to visit include Sixteenth Century Paphos Castle, the Houses of Dionysos, Theseas & Aion with their amazing Third Century Mosaic Floors & the Odeon, a small Second Century Roman Theatre. The Harbour is very picturesque with its variety of tavernas, cafes & Museums.
Located just outside Paphos are the Tombs of the Kings a vast complex of burial grounds dating from the Forth Century. The Temple of Aphrodite with its Museums is at Kouklia.
The Adonis Waterfalls is beautiful to visit, Adonis the lover of Aphrodite would bathe here, you will find it between Polis & Paphos.
They say that Aphrodite the Greek Goddess of Love rose from the waves in a huge clamshell at Petra Tou Romoiu a strikingly beautiful spot between Paphos & Limmasol
