  • Bookings usually commence and finish on Sundays although this is very flexible subject to availability.
    Prices are inclusive of normal usage of electricity and air conditioning. However, the owner reserves the right to charge for excessive usage.
    Discounts are available for bookings of 3 weeks or more.
    To allow for the villa to be prepared for clients, bookings commence from 4.00pm on the Day of Arrival and end at 10.00am on the Day of Departure.
    Payment; A non-refundable 25% deposit is required to confirm the reservation. The balance is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival.
    A security deposit of £100 is required for each rental,payable simultaneously with the balance of the rental fee
  • The villa is a non-smoking property.

    Clients are expected to leave the villa in clean condition upon departure.(Please see our booking conditions).The villa will be cleaned prior to your arrival.

The villa is very comfortable and provided us with all we needed for our stay.It is obviously well looked after and is the best self catering villa we have stayed in to date on our holidays abroad. The patio area and garden are beautifully planted out and completely private and the views from the patio are breathtaking. The sunsets are gorgeous! the weather was great and the garden layout gives sun and shade at all times of the day. The villa is ideally situated,less than 2 mins and you are on the beach walkway.Lovely walks either into Latchi or Polis, the main town of the area.Restaurants offer good local food and wine.We had a wonderful week walking and generally relaxing, although there are plenty of activities in the area if you want to be adventuous! A weeks stay only allowed us to scratch the surface of this beautiful area.So much to see. We will be back next year.

The location is fantastic: at the end of a holiday-village, near a cornfield, overlooking the aera down to the sea, just between two nice small villages with excellent fish-restaurants and a landscape with lovely hikes (see Peters informations in the livingroom).
The villa is well-maintained, we do not miss anything, has comfortable rooms and friendly interior, illuminated by many windows and big glasdoors.

Our stay at the Villa Sara near Polis

My cousin and I really enjoyed our holiday on Cyprus at the Villa Sara in late May/early June. It was located away from the more commercial areas and very close to a nice beach. It was a quiet and relaxing place to be.

The villa was small, but very well appointed, comfortable, clean and airy. The welcome pack included a loaf of the local bread which was a nice touch and appreciated.

The villa was also only two minutes walk to the beach which was practically deserted at the time of our visit (we didn't miss having a pool).

We didn't have a problem with mosquitoes in the evening, so were able to sit outside or leave the patio doors open and enjoy the cool breeze without the need for air conditioning. The air conditioning in the rooms was efficient and quiet when used (mostly briefly before retiring to bed).

We walked to Latchi (along the coast path) and to Polis (inland slightly) on several occasions and found plenty of cafes/restaurants to choose from at both. The footpaths and roads from the villa to Polis are not very well marked - although we managed to find our way it was definitely an adventure coming back in the dark! We chose not to hire a car because we had relatives living nearby who took us out and about, but would recommend having one unless you are happy to stay local and walk or cycle.

We had planned to cycle to the nearby Akamas region, but although we had checked out cycle hire in Polis, sadly we didn't manage to get there - next time perhaps!

A boat trip from Latchi up the coast to the Blue Lagoon in was well worth doing. We set off early one day in a hired speedboat and the water was still and clear and perfect for swimming and snorkelling (we even saw some turtles swimming en route). Ski hire was also available. It was still early in the holiday season so there weren't many people around, but we could imagine that the number of larger 'tourist' boats in the area might increase later on. We wondered how the turtles would fare then.

The owner was very pleasant to deal with and we would definitely recommend both the villa and area - in fact we would both be happy to return.
