Places to go on a Paphos Holiday

Coral Bay: Coral Bay’s long sandy beach is in one of many sandy bays North of Paphos, Cyprus, and is very close to the delightful fishing villages of Polis and Latchi. It is widely considered the nicest beach in the area, and well worth a visit on a Paphos holiday.

Kefalos Beach Tourist village is a new beach resort complex, with excellent accessibility to Paphos, designed in the style of a traditional Cypriot village. Bars, shops, and Paphos harbour are all within a 25 minute walk of this family resort.

Kato-Paphos: the lower part of Paphos town (Pafos Town) is distinct from the rest of the town. The open air fish restaurants, working harbour and important archaeological sites mean that Kato has developed a very independent atmosphere.

Pegia (Peyia), is a short drive from Coral Bay and is situated in the foothills of Paphos. Still largely unspoilt, the thin streets and interesting architecture and gardening in Pegia (Peyia) is defiantly worth visiting.

Things to do in Paphos.

Paphos Town’s turbulent past gives it a wealth of historic places of interest to visit, including the Byzantine Castle of Paphos, the Tombs of the Kings, and the remains of the Roman Governor’s Palace with its fine mosaics, or the remains of the Temple of Aphrodite. Some of the villas in Paphos and other accommodation in Paphos available are in the Old Town, although slightly inland, with fantastic access to the traditional culture of Cyprus as well as the soft sands and deep blue waters of Coral Bay or Kefalos Beach.
