As featured in BBC GOOD HOMES 2009 The Summer House is delightfully situated on the edge of the 10x5 metre swimming pool, on the terrace there is a stone seat with upholstered cushions and a small table for Al fresco dining. To the right of the Summer House there is a Morrocan corner, with an abundance of comfortable beds and chairs, beneath a shaded white mulberry tree. The Summer House is on a self catering basis, with maid service 6 days a week.

The Summer House at Yazade is ideally situated in the residential area of the old Turkish quarter, just minutes walk from the town and the picturesque Kyrenia harbour. Just seconds away, the local baker produces excellent bread readily available for those wonderful breakfast times on your private terrace.

What a beautiful and relaxing haven you have cleverly created hidden right in the centre of the lovely Turkish Quarter. Visually stunning and perfectly situated to enjoy all that Kyrenia has to offer on foot. Breakfast sitting outside our dear little summer house every morning was an absolute delight. Thank you, we will always remember our lovely holiday at Yazade!

A good location and fine for those without a car. A central point for visiting historic places of interest.
An attractive studio and setting, well cared for. The surroundings are beautiful, but be aware it is a restaurant 6 days of the week and the proximity of the restuarant seating and noise is close to the studio apartment. Also the pool is not available from 7-12pm. There is no pressure to eat in their restaurant however the ambience of this surrounding was pleasant at times.
We enjoyed using the public transport . You need to budget for taxi fares as some places are not accessible by bus. The owners were helpful in giving information on places of interest when asked.

One of the prettiest places we have ever stayed, absolutely charming. We loved our terrace where we ate fresh baked bread for breakfast and enjoyed gin and tonics with lemons picked from our own tree in the evening! The little things made the difference, such as the white robes, the groceries in the fridge and someone to make the bed everyday.

The lovely old port of Kyrenia is a short walk away and has an abundance of restaurants and bars. Once the sun sets the lanterns come on and the candles are lit creating a fabulous atmosphere.

The history of North Cyprus, both ancient and modern is fascinating and we would recommend a trip to Famagusta where both are in evidence.

A little piece of Heaven

As you slip through the blue door hidden in the Old Quarter of Kyrenia, you enter your own little piece of Paradise. A tranquil haven set in a beautiful, scented garden that surrounds a cooling pool. The enchanting Summer House sits at the far end. The owners are welcoming and incredibly helpful, be it directions, recommendations, sorting out car hire. We spent days just relaxing and unwinding before exploring this fascinating part of Cyprus. Yazade made it an unforgettably lovely experience. Absolutely brilliant.
