Carob Cottage is situated on the outskirts of the village of Hisarkoy on the southern slopes of the Kyrenia Mountains. Carob Cottage has 2 bedrooms; one double the other twin bedded. Both are air-conditioned. There is a lounge and fully fitted kitchen. A swimming pool is available in the summer. The immediate area lends itself to bird watching, walking, botany, butterfly spotting, and painting. In spring (mid Feb-May) 24 species of wild orchids may be spotted along with many endemic plants. April/May and October/November are the months to see the many migrating species of birds over Cyprus. Access by air is through 'Ercan' airport in the north, 50kms away or 'Larnaca' in the south, 80kms away. Transport can be arranged from either airport for a fee.

Carob Cottage is situated on the edge of the old traditional Turkish village of Hisarkoy. Hisarkoy is located on the southern slopes of the Kyrenia Mountains with breathtaking views of the Troodos and the Kyrenia range. Nicosia is 30 minutes drive away, Kyrenia 40 minutes. Carob Cottage is accessible through 'Ercan' airport (north), or 'Larnaca' airport in the south of Cyprus.

Excellent accommodation for those who want to get away from it all. Owners provided excellent customer service without being intrusive. Great pool and facilities, spent many evenings by the pool with a glass of wine watching swallows then bats visiting for a drink too!
